I paid for it weeks ago, so I can't not get it. But if I could, I *would* cancel. So, count me vote as "no".

Nah, my bro is getting it and he hasn't read the leaks. He assumes that there is a happy ending and when I told him all the endings are bad/grimdark he told me that he thinks the players just screwed up to get the best ending.

He's going to be angry when he beats the game.

actually i read on another thread that there is one ending for you to be
in LI/VS but Liara is always stuck on "a random planet"

Liara has plot armor. Aren't they trying to give her a spin-off? Liara and the stranded planet.

Ah, ah, ah!

It's Lost: In Space.

I'd play Uncharted: Liara's Fortune. First, and only, level is a giant pit that you must jump into. You keep dying.

Or "Wrong Turn 100: Asari Meatloaf"....

I wish to see the end of the trilogy but I am going to feel powerless and hurt at the end. So there will be little point to buying DLC unless they give me something that re-writes the endings for it, which isn't going to happen. I'm definately not going to try SWTOR now, and am likely going to be slow to trust any franchises in the future.

No.

I might later tho, once it hits bargain bin prices. The action-y bits do look good (and were good in the demo)... but ****ty writing is inexcusable for a story like ME.

I'll watch a let's play on youtube, save my money.

Nope. Cancelled my pre-order yesterday.

I'll get it used sometime in the far future. As that won't be a new retail sale, BW won't see a penny from it.

That would be neat. A Liara driven insane holding Shepard's dogtags and going "MY PRECIOUS".

And the dogtags must be thrown into a Reaper. THE SHEPARD REAPER IN SPECIFIC.

I can't wait to play this game. We all know how it ends, but what matters is how we get to that point.

The ending is icing on the cake but isn't always the best part. If everything is true and there isn't any different types of endings i will label this the "new dash rendar ending."

For those who don't know dash rendar was a star wars book character that died in the last page of a book that was placed between movies.  It was kinda funny,  he blew up the space station and got killed by the flying debris if i remember correctly.  It was one of the biggest let downs in my book reading time.   I felt cheated but in the end i didn't hate the character any less.  And that is how i will feel about me3.

I can see what they are trying to do,  make all the endings somewhat simular so they have a way to make the next mass effect game.  If all endings where totally different then they couldn't have a base to make the next game.  from what i understand everything starts anew in all endings so there is the base.  I just wish they didn't add the extra tear jerking stuff just to make it more memorable.

I saw endings and you what I am still going get that game cause it like seeing vision or a prophecy just because you know how it will end you doesn't you what happen in everything in between. Plus seeing the launch trailer blow away any doubts about mass effect 3.

I'm more surprised that even 26% said no on a site that's usually highly tilted toward taking BW's side on things.'Course, the poll size is too small to really be representative, and all that. But whatevs.

Personally, I'm buying a used GOTY edition a year or so from now, once ME3 is complete and cheap.

I'm going to buy it, but this will be my last Bioware purchase unless there's some ending in the game that none of us have heard about yet.
