The multiplayer, because when you win the entire team and you don't die.

This.
And - better yet - you can make the struggle to not leave anyone behind (and you can get a Full Extraction) if you put forth the effort.
Or you can you leave them!

YOU GET A ****ING CHOICE.

This is what I don't get about the endings from the leaks (which I'm assuming are true - unless something comes up that proves otherwise), and why I get frustrated with people berating others for wanting 'sunshine and bunnies'.

It's not about people wanting a 'happy ending' instead of a depressing one. It's not even about having a forced bad ending.

It's about not having the option to work for an amazing, victorious ending, or total failure, or any degree in between. Taking away meaningful, tangible choice from the finale of the series isn't a fitting end to a trilogy defined by the concept, and that's what's not sitting right about this whole situation.

Now they're going to insert a cutscene after every mission where the shuttle pilot spills coffee in his lap and crashes into a mountain.

LOOOOOOOOOOOL. Win.

Aww. Now they're gonna implement it, since the game clearly isn't dark enough to accurately represent your odds of beating the reapers yet (despite multiplayer being vs cerberus).

What about romances? I heard the 3 squadmates you pick are with you till the end of the game.

This true?

The multiplayer storyline is deep and engaging. With multiple branching paths and unique, powerful characters with incredible personalities.

Personally, I love the romances. They are Bioware's best written romances yet.

There is no storyline for multiplayer...

Maybe if they cut that out and focused more on SP we'd have a better SP... never divide your forces.

At this point, I'm almost tempted to say lack of a storyline is better than being stuck with the endings we seem to get.

But for the last time, MP did NOT cause the problems with SP.  Even if you took all the resources from MP and devoted them to SP, you would still have been stuck with the same writers, and probably have gotten the same storyline, which is where almost everyone's problems lie.

There is only a certain amount of money alloted to the game, MP takes some of it.

Exactly, incorporating the MP element will no doubt eat into the development time & resources allocated to the entire ME3 Project.

Not really.  Endings take some writing resources and voice acting resources, while MP is all about character models and maps.  All of the MP characters/maps actually was recycled in SP.

MP certainly didn't take anything from the endings (two guys wrote the entire thing).  Maybe they took away something from the side missions, but not the endings.

It would be really cool if you could import one of your MP characters into the SP as a single N7 mission temporary squaddie. Which N7 mission would depend on race.Maybe with just 2-3 voiced lines.

It feels good when you get full extraction and the announcer says "well done team" at the end. You won't get full extraction at the end of ME3
