Would you play a Mass Effect game with no guns? I would like to see a game do well that doesn't require the player to kill things. How do you feel about a Mass Effect game as a pure space exploration game? I don't mind the violence in Mass Effect. I just wonder.  Does violence have to be the main mode of gameplay?

Four words:

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

I'd happily play an ME game along similar lines and quite enjoyed the small number of side quests where you don't have to shoot things. Having said that in DE:HR I shot anyone who was too much trouble to knock out or sneak round until a likeable minor character got murdered by the baddies, after which I went Charles Bronson and shot everything that moved and wasn't an innocent bystander. But the point is that there's a choice of non-lethal weapons and often a non-violent answer for each problem you face, so there's a no-kill solution for everything in DE:HR apart from the bosses. But is there really a peaceful resolution out there for the Reapers?

I'd love to find peaceful sollutions for most sittulations. When I play stealth games, I NEVER knock anyone out unless I really have to, nor do I kill anyone. I distract and sneak around like a ghost.
