It was okay. I'll watch it again at home to be sure, but my first impressions are:

1) They could have gone with a different music track, it's a bit too familiar for my tastes.
2) The music doesn't seem to fit Shepard's speech at the beginning, but that quickly turns when we get to the action.
3) I didn't like the quotes (the marketing ones) used in the vid, it messed with the flow.
4) No nods at ME1 and/or ME2. Just a few scenes here and there would've been nice. It took a while, but I get it now, "don't spook newcomers with scenes from games they haven't played."
5) No reason to make me care.
6) On the plus side, there's a lot of footage from the game that we hadn't seen before.

All in all, I think I'd rather have Mikkrobitti's "World Collapsing" as the launch trailer. Sorry.

Damn it BW, after watching that trailer my brain melted, oozed out of my nose, and gunked up my keyboard. Now I guess I have to go by that $250.00 N7 keyboard before Tuesday...

This trailer has blown all of my worries out of the stratosphere! I avoided massive spoilers, I waited month upon agonising month, and now I just want to explode with excitement! Thank you Bioware for putting so much time and effort into this series! You have introduced to the world something remarkably special, which I am incredibly grateful that I am able to be a part of! It looks like a stunning game and I am sure me, and your loyal army of supporters, will sing of the praises of this fantastic game. Thank you.

It was really good. My only complaint is for about the first third, and even throughout the trailer, we're shown footage that we've all seen already, in previous trailers and the demo. I've seen that scene with the kid getting onto the shuttle that it has zero impact on me anymore, it's been shown so often.

Would've been nice to see a lot of new footage for the start of it. I understand that the marketing team has been focusing on this idea that we have to "take back Earth", and we (presumably) have already scene everything there is to see of Earth, in the demo and previous trailers - but a meeting with the Council where Shepard explains that Earth's been taken would have worked well, I think.

But yeah, *love* the music with the shots, and loved the little snippet of the Ash romance scene. Can't wait to do my Male Shep run, now (going to be my second playthrough). I just hope she can forgive me for sleeping with Miranda.

I agree with you, but also:
I am sorry to say this, but Mass Effect 2 had better launch trailer :/This is still great, but not as good.The scene at 0:30 is weird. Does not seem to fit with the music or what he is saying for some reason, even though he says what is shown in that exact scene.And it seems like you guys tried to show too much action at once and the 2 second segments seem too fast to me. Also the fact that the music started from the age restriction kind of put me off for some reason and the inception BHHMMMMM at the start also seemed a bit odd to me. Just a bit of constructive criticism.
