how do you know which GDA to look inside ??
is there a list or something somewhere ?
or are people just guessing from the name inside the 2da ?

Also is there some secret way of converting an GDA to an xml ??
Generate Module XML: doesnt work.
Generate Manifest XML: doesnt work.

GDA are "compiled" Excel files(DAO Wiki link you should read).
You can find the source in /Dragon Age/tools/Source/2DA/ folder if you have installed the toolset.
You normally only want to work on XLS file, then convert them to GDA
You can peek inside a GDA by opening directly from the toolset.
And if you need to convert a *.GDA file back to *XLS, you can use GDApp
