Yes, cause the whiners above me don't know how to appreciate a tragedy story, or a story in which sacrifice is necessary to win.

So you call anyone that doesn't share your view point a whiner? Your such a forum bad ass.

No, just the people who have, since the endings were spoiled, spent non-stop time and energy bashing bioware and the endings. Replying or posting in all the ending or anti-bioware related forums, or have pushed their opinion of the game being bad down everyone's throts, without having played it for themselves.

Oh, and stranding the writers on a planet based on deliverance, really Jackal7713? You and Elite Midget really should stop going on every forum about the endings and diversify a little in your postings.

Dude, maybe some people don't like to be lied to. Stop trolling and making assumptions. And if people don't like to appreciate tragedy stories and waste time and money, that's their right. You need to respect people's opinions. Nobody is attacking you for liking and apprieciating tragic stories.

On a side note, FF7 is a thousand times more tragic than ME3 in my opinon.

If you think I'll sit back and take a verbal slap from you by calling me a whiner, you have another thing coming. The deliverance comment was a joke. But since you lack a sence of humor, I can see why you didn't get it.  Since they lied to get my money, I have a right to express my disapproval, as does EM and anyone else that feels like that.

it's not what I wanted or expected for Shep and company, (i really thought we'd be saving our files from ME3 and happen to hear about General Shepard during ME4) but i'll keep going with ME4...just hoping it's not going to be nothing but prequals from now on...

Of course. I may dislike the endings but I still love the series.

MMO though, hell no. I love WoW, but unless someone comes up with something new more is just not needed.

Mostly this.  I love the universe, just not how BW trashes it all and sets it on fire in the end.  I'll buy the Garrus Homeworld comic for sure.

An MMO is harder for me to decide.  TOR was alright, but...some key design decisions do not speak well for its longevity and BW's complete lack of basic customer service is appalling.  I'm nervous about how they might (mis)handle a Mass Effect MMO.

Yes.

Personally, of what I saw, I don't hate the endings. I don't love them either, mind you. But to me, it isn't the end of the world and I still love the universe.

Kinda hard to love the universe when it's still broken after 100,000 with no familiar faces and with some races having the option of extinction it kills the atmosphere too. What made the ME Universe great before these endings just wont be there in a 100,000 years later sequel or MMO.

The beauty of the Mass Effect universe is its depth.

Maybe you could make a prequel game, with nothing to do with the Reaper plotline, where you play a Spectre (of a race of your choosing) and focus of galatic intrigue.

Or a game where you play a Ceberus agent that takes place after the First Contact War, where you do their dirty work.

Hell, if you want a sequal you could always have a game where the surviving members of the Normandy crew, down the line, discover what's left of the Mass Effect core has suddenly reactivated itself.  Your character would be a perviously faceless member of the crew.

If you look past the doom and gloom, there's a lot of options to work with, past or future.

Definitely YES, Mass Effect universe is rich, big and huge, is not only about "Shepard and his/her crew".

But no MMO, please.

But if it was like this, then definitely NO!

This is insulting man, is retconing your own game and changing their own end.

Like it or not, ME2 end is always the end, the suicide mission is completed regardless Shepard's die or not.

And no mentioning to FO3 please, the original end was horrible and the patched one is even worse.

Hell no.

If they want to end the trilogy with such a ****ty note, then F them and the EA horse they rode in on.

I like the setup they have for Mass Effect: the aliens, the background, etc...

But there's no way I'm buying anything else until ME3 comes out.   THEN, depending on if the rumors are true or not, I'll decide if a future DLC purchase is worth the hassle.

As for an MMO....HELL NO!!!

WoW was good at the time but has gone south lately and TOR's pricetag is abit steep.

I will continue buy ME games as they come out. Letting one ending ruin the series for you, imo, is stupid. The MMO though I will stay away from if nothing else then because it will likely be a monthly subscription. The only MMO I have played that is worthy of a monthly sub has been Eve-Online.

I already bought the Mass Effect Universe Art Book and I plan on buying the Data Pad app. MMO? No. I do not like MMOs. It's a personal opinion.

you dont understand how a iconic charachter works do you?

so i guess all the expanded universe novels for stars wars are just complete retcons now because you say so right?

can you honestly sit there and say any star wars book would sell greatly without   luke as the prime charachter?

After this ending, I'm highly considering not buying the game at all, and I only have a $10 stake in it, amongst five other people.

Why would they want to make these novels if everything is destroyed in ME3?
