I bought two CE's, one DDE from Origin to pre-load, the second one to have the items, although I will be selling the game content (DVD-keys, DLC- keys) from the boxed version.
I've spent overall alot of money and my collection after april this year is going to be full, everything I could buy so far is bought.
Yet after the game is released I will be making a decision that I will never buy anything from BioWare, since I feel robbed, raped and pist because of the story so far, although I might be wrong about the overall experience ME3 might give me, I am sure that there will be no point for me to buy anything from them since they've gone blizzard style... well not as greedy as they are, but clearly the game content and skills in writing have gone really really low. Example StarCraft's 2 WoL story was the ****tiest thing that ever happened in the history of gaming.

Dragon Age 2 is the true worst thing, WoL had some really good cinematics.

with those lines? I writed few lines of script and hardcore fans liked that alot more than that **** from blizzard
let's make a giant xelnaga bomb that will de-infest infested kerrigan and kill the zerg... oh and in Heart of the Swarm lets re-infest her again, in those type of situations I support piracy, I don't do it myself but I support it
SC2 story is the biggest fail ever, DA2 I have not played it yet, but from what I heard it wasn't that bad

I will not buy any further me3 products except for MP and SP DLC that changes the ending to a range of endings as was essentially promised in marketing. I will certainly not buy any inter-related products other than the art book and keyboard I already bought.

As for future products, I would have to evaluate it at that time. I think they've already gotten enough of my money for unsatisfying payoffs (DA:O dlc, DA2, Me3)

I'm reserving final judgment until I play the game but ME3 may not only be my last ME-related product but also my last BW product. I'm not likely to buy either the comics or the novels anyway because I haven't really cared for them up to this point and I will absolutely NOT buy an MMO. Any DLC or future SP games I buy in the future depend on how I feel about ME3.

Dude, maybe some people don't like to be lied to. Stop trolling and making assumptions. And if people don't like to appreciate tragedy stories and waste time and money, that's their right. You need to respect people's opinions. Nobody is attacking you for liking and apprieciating tragic stories.

On a side note, FF7 is a thousand times more tragic than ME3 in my opinon.

Opinions are like asses everybody has them and they all stink that's why i don't care what anyone else says is what i want that matters.Image IPB

Uh, what does this have to do with being respectfull and decent? All I'm saying is despite your opinons and answers, don't call people names if they differ. That's bullying and being an a**hole. People complain, let them complain but don't call them names!   And yes, calling someone a whiner is a negative and condensending.

So you call anyone that doesn't share your view point a whiner? Your such a forum bad ass.

No, just the people who have, since the endings were spoiled, spent non-stop time and energy bashing bioware and the endings. Replying or posting in all the ending or anti-bioware related forums, or have pushed their opinion of the game being bad down everyone's throts, without having played it for themselves.

Oh, and stranding the writers on a planet based on deliverance, really Jackal7713? You and Elite Midget really should stop going on every forum about the endings and diversify a little in your postings.

If you think I'll sit back and take a verbal slap from you by calling me a whiner, you have another thing coming. The deliverance comment was a joke. But since you lack a sence of humor, I can see why you didn't get it.  Since they lied to get my money, I have a right to express my disapproval, as does EM and anyone else that feels like that.

My apologizes than, I did not mean to be quite so rude. Going through the forums and seeing the raw levels of cynicism can take it's toll on a persons civility, as did mine. My temper flared, I wil admit, and I coul have handeled my response and counter response with more poise and grace. Once again, i offer my sincere apology.

If it turns out the rumors are true and the only ending/s are the current "rocks fall and kill everybody" endings, as opposed to something with more variety like we've been told to expect all along (remember that interview they did where they said definitely the Reapers can win?), then no. Because at that point it will be clear that the whole reason they stripped the whole "your decisions drive the outcome" in favor of "everyone gets the same ending" would be to set the stage for whatever follow-on products they want to do next. Be in MMORPG or whatever. If they try to pull a maneuver like that people will be pretty pissed at having been misled which will manifest itself in dry pre-orders and ME fans adopting a "wait and see" mentality on whatever comes next.

You can fool everybody once, but don't be surprised when whatever volume assumptions you made for subsequent products doesn't materialize according to forecasts.

I completely given up on EA, seeing how they butchered the Sims series.  Even though BW became part of EA, I still remained hopeful as I really enjoyed their previous games.  KOTOR series, ME1 & 2, DA:O...

But after seeing what happened with DA2, SWTOR (Just another WoW clone) and ME3 endings. I think I'm not going throw any more money at BW, especially not the ME franchise anymore.

Actually, the Reapers do win. They steal your ending, resulting in a total victory for them.

It may be one of the few games I've ever played that I could not stomache playing through to the end because it was like a job and I was just wasting my time. I did find the endings though. That game was terribad.

Why would they want to make these novels if everything is destroyed in ME3?

They're owned lock, stock, and barrel by EA.  If EA is known for one thing (aside from going all out Borg on studios it swallows up), it's milking a franchise until the last drop falls.

If this is the true ending then no. I won't.

This is a fledgling franchise and its magnum opus is ending with the conductor merged into a machine never to be heard again and the orchestra abandoned on a random planet.

It feels like an abuse of my loyalty and trust. If this is how they're setting the stage for the Mass Effect Universe, I'll pass.

Yep. I don't care if I don't "agree with" the endings... the time invested in the games and the universe was worth it because I enjoyed it. Miranda (the only LI I ever liked) seems to be fine through ME3, so the rest of the crew being stranded isn't really a big deal for me, and Shep's ending was inevitable and obvious, so can't complain there (assuming these are true/in context). I'll buy more ME products, sure. Cant say about the MMO (I've vowed not to play MMOs since Lineage 2 took over my life years back lol), but I'll buy whatever ME product comes along that catches my eye. I'm not done with the series if Bioware isn't.

Are you kidding?

I'm honest to God considering giving away my-
Mass Effect 2 figures
Pre-Ordered Series 2 figures
Art book for ME1ME1 store standeeME3 store standee
2 Mass Effect playing card decks (one is sealed)
4 novels
3 collected series of comics
18 different game magazines with ME covers
Art of Mass Effec
tNormandy replica
2 posters
3 guides (ME1, ME2 CE and ME2 Expanded)
Predator pistol rip-off
Inflatable omni-tool
4 shirts (liara, Miranda, Paragon, Newton
CE of ME1
CE of ME2
ME2 (standard)
ME1 platinum edition

So, yeah.  If these endings are true, I'm done.  I won't go into hysterics, I'm just going to get rid of Mass Effect items.  I see no reason why to keep them, after what, six years, of promoting a series, of loving every minute of it, only to be so angry it retroactively ruins the series to me (you other folks are fine liking it, that's your call), to the point that I feel Mac Walters and Casey Hudson have pseudo given me the finger.  "Hey, fan, you DON'T GET  a happy ending.  All the things you purchased, all the copies you sold working in retail part-time while you promoted us in your schooling to be a teacher?  Forget that.  We built you up, and now we want you to end upset."  Well, excuse me for saying all this (I am sure Mac and Casey are lovely in RL, merely saying that, as a fan, I feel INSULTED by the LEAKED ENDINGS (again, this is if they are true, I'm in wait-and-see mode)), but truth be told, I haven't been this annoyed with a fictional narrative since Devil's Due Publishing "killed off Snake-Eyes"... and Hasbro took back the rights of G.I. Joe for a reason, if you get my meaning.

Point is, those endings will ruin the series for me.  No exaggeration, that is how angry I will be.  Out of seven endings, not one is a happy ending?  That isn't artistic.  That isn't poetic, or meaningful, that is forcing a particular ending on a series where the promise has always been "You get to decide what happens," and, well, guess what?  I wanted to kill the bad guys and go home with my girl-friend.  I can accept losses, I can accept friends dying, but when I cannot do anything to save MOST of the characters I care about from a fate forced upon them, when all other indication throughout the series is"You can choose," well, I'm done.  I'm taking my ball, and I'm going the f*** home.

And if you didn't read this gargantuan post, let me some it up with this; I love(d) Mass Effect so much, I kept my receipts for the CE editions of 1 and 2 as mementos, hell, check my history and see the thread I started where I was looking to make my store's launch of ME3 awesome, out of my own pocket.  IF these endings are true, and IF there is no happy ending available within a few months after launch, then they are going in the trash, and Bioware can make their money off of someone else.  I'll be done.
