Now this is a true Mass Effect fan. People like him, myself and everybody else who gave there hard earned money for the games are being screwed by Bioware (EA), what they are doing is insulting and sick.SE JN wrote...

So, yeah. If these endings are true, I'm done. I won't go into hysterics, I'm just going to get rid of Mass Effect items. I see no reason why to keep them, after what, six years, of promoting a series, of loving every minute of it, only to be so angry it retroactively ruins the series to me (you other folks are fine liking it, that's your call), to the point that I feel Mac Walters and Casey Hudson have pseudo given me the finger. "Hey, fan, you DON'T GET a happy ending. All the things you purchased, all the copies you sold working in retail part-time while you promoted us in your schooling to be a teacher? Forget that. We built you up, and now we want you to end upset." Well, excuse me for saying all this (I am sure Mac and Casey are lovely in RL, merely saying that, as a fan, I feel INSULTED by the LEAKED ENDINGS (again, this is if they are true, I'm in wait-and-see mode)), but truth be told, I haven't been this annoyed with a fictional narrative since Devil's Due Publishing "killed off Snake-Eyes"... and Hasbro took back the rights of G.I. Joe for a reason, if you get my meaning.
Point is, those endings will ruin the series for me. No exaggeration, that is how angry I will be. Out of seven endings, not one is a happy ending? That isn't artistic. That isn't poetic, or meaningful, that is forcing a particular ending on a series where the promise has always been "You get to decide what happens," and, well, guess what? I wanted to kill the bad guys and go home with my girl-friend. I can accept losses, I can accept friends dying, but when I cannot do anything to save MOST of the characters I care about from a fate forced upon them, when all other indication throughout the series is"You can choose," well, I'm done. I'm taking my ball, and I'm going the f*** home.
And if you didn't read this gargantuan post, let me some it up with this; I love(d) Mass Effect so much, I kept my receipts for the CE editions of 1 and 2 as mementos, hell, check my history and see the thread I started where I was looking to make my store's launch of ME3 awesome, out of my own pocket. IF these endings are true, and IF there is no happy ending available within a few months after launch, then they are going in the trash, and Bioware can make their money off of someone else. I'll be done.
I would happily say that spending money is not an indicator of passion for a series, but of misaligned priorities, teehee!
Either way, IF this endings are true, I will be done with the series. If there is no silver lining, I see no point in continuing to support the Mass Effect IP if it's just going to anger or depress me. I hope Bioware understands this; I'm not kicking or screaming, I'm giving the game a chance, I'm hopeful for an ending I enjoy, just merely that, at this moment, they run the risk of losing a loyal and valuable customer.
