SPOILERS (obviously)

I'm on my second playthrough as a human noble female.  My first was a warrior and my second is a rogue.  On this playthrough I opted to take Dairren to bed in my origins story and he mentioned that he'd heard rumors about me in that way.  I even had the option to ask Duncan back to my room (he declined, obviously).

I'm also finding that with this playthrough there are A LOT of sexy dialogue options happening throughout the game.  Even random people are telling me how beautiful my rogue is.  That did not happen with my warrior.  What I'm wondering is this:

Is the game assuming I'm more sexy based on my decision to bed Dairren?  Or is it because I'm a rogue?  Or both?  What's going on here?  (not that I'm complaining)

Thanks.

Leather is sexier than plate armor.

A 'stache on females is very sexy....

Made me think of the "female" prostitute.

I think the added opportunities for sex in the human noble origin just demonstrate the developers' belief that our leaders really are out to screw us all.

:D

My character was a female noble rogue and I don't remember seeing any option to bed anyone or ask Duncan back to my room.  I guess I'm just a nice person and never asked questions in the right way...lol.:innocent:

No, what I'm saying is I was a human noble in BOTH playthroughs and the rogue playthrough is most definitely more sexy throughout the game.

It was almost immediate for me!  Now I'm wondering if it has something to do with certain features you give your character in the character creation.  I doubt it, but it would be interesting if something like larger lips or intense makeup or what not affected that.

Heh. :D

I think you're very close to the truth. It's just another detail that shows how nobles seem to think they can do whatever they want with their underlings. Especially Iona probably doesn't dare deny you... if you play the city elf origin you find yourself at the other end of this...

It might be the way your character approaches things, yes.

I think you get the above option if you talk to Duncan after your father tells you to talk to your brother.  You can say how very much you want to talk to him and invite him to your room later.  I do believe his response is something along the lines of "I'm flattered that you are so enthusiastic, but I don't think that would be appropriate".  Heh.

It's cunning/ persuade based. The higher your pursasuion is the more options you get when talking, your warrior would have had higher strength, so would have lead to the intimidation path, less sexy good time.

I got Bann Teagan to flirt with me and wish we could discuss things later in the middle of killing corpses. LOL

This might well be it.  I played my warrior with a fairly high Cunning (for a warrior) and maxed out Coercion early on.

Oh. Oh my. I thought I was wooing Iona with my male warrior, now you got me thinking she's just doing it because she fears saying no. I guess it can be open to the imagination.

I'm leaving her alone next time.

I didn't sleep with whats-his-face and I still got lots of "beautiful" compliments as a rogue, so it probably has to do with the rogue specialty.  I haven't played as a warrior yet though, so I can't compart the two.

Edit: I also had high cunning, so it might be that as described above.

I'm playing as a female human mage and so far I've gotten tons of references to my gender, including comments about how pretty I am.  The mage origin doesn't let you have *sex* with anyone*, but there is actually a young templar who has a serious crush on you, and you can tease Jowan about why he never hooked up with you (Lily comments along the lines of, "Yes, you were *always* talking about her...").Image IPB

My point?  I don't think it's a class or origin thing.  Mind you, I do like to take the "flirty" dialogue options as well, and I have high Cunning and high Coercion skills.

*Which, in my opinion, is a bit odd, seeing as even the lore about mages mentions that the culture of the tower results in mages being more sexually uninhibited.

As my female city elf who was about to get married and none too happy about it I would have loved to just go into that shop, look at the shopkeeper and go "all right.  Just do me and I'll go."  Just...SOMEONE!  One last hot fling before my life is over!

Wow. I wish I had messed around with Teagan on my first playthough. I did persuade the first guy into bed though before he was taken away. So sad.
