I know right =O I moved onto the PC format at the worst possible time...with Mass Effect 3 right around the corner *out on Friday, but might get it earlier due to online order*
So I wanted to ask for some help while keeping in mind I'm starting from fresh as I havent played ME2 for a good long time.

- I used the Widow/Mantis in ME3 multiplayer and loved the one-shot one kill play. I usually prefer the Viper or any semi-auto snipers but the idea of popping out of cover for a split-second, admistering death and then heading back into cover is appealing for a number of reasons, the obvious one being less damage taken.
BUT Ammo because a problem with my playing style. I am a true RANGED type character at heart, meaning I don't go around looking for thermal clips during a battle. So if their was a way that I can retain the widow/mantis and increase the amount of ammo I can carry, that would be swell.

- Moving onto the PC has some disadvantages, I don't have the access to any of the DLC I got on my 360 minus Zaeed while I want to complete ME2 in time for ME3 I also want to download some of the DLC. I know Arrival and Lair of the Shadow Broker (Liara...your love is slowly overtaking mine for Tali...) are two of the MAJOR ones that I want to grab, but if anyone has any suggestions to others that are worth the redownload would be grand.

- Any general PC advice would be welcome :)

Thanks for reading in advance, I know their's ahundred threads out there but most of them don't tend to go into detail about the questions, hence why I was asking...plus whenever I search for things I never find what I'm looking for *shrug*

Widow carries more ammo than the Mantis, and you won't get the Widow until midgame anyway. You can slightly increase your capacity with the Off-Hand Ammo Pack (which does not increase the amount for the Mantis). Alternatively you would have to mod the coalesced.ini file...

You will need to use the SMG and Pistol more early game. The pistols are both decent for ranged work. If you have the Stealing Memory DLC then you could play that early to get the Locust SMG which is more accurate at range than the Shuriken.

As above, Locust and Kasumi are worth downloading because Kasumi is a very strong squadmember if you use Improved Flashbang.

The game plays more or less like the Xbox version as far as I can tell. The interface is different. I recommend switching Spacebar and Shift. :)
