Still not a "clean" way -- as it involves swapping files, it fails to "convince" the game that it's in other language.
VO/subtitles selectors are locked as well, news are still in russian, etc.

We may be dealing with a region lock based on the product key (which is understandable by itself, but WHY region-locking also forces you to have a fixed in-game language?)

Nice one. I'm not going to buy it second time, though.
The worst thing is -- I've pre-ordered ME3 quite a long time ago, it's not even appeared in Origin back then. And of course, I've got no mention of that "RU only" bull**** anywhere in the order confirmation. Later, when I've got a message about preload being available, it magically said "RU only" -- well, at least it was true then. Now, after the release, it shows as "Mass Effect 3 Digital Deluxe Edition", without even mentioning that it's STILL only in russian.

I just hope that community will find a way around this idiocity. And note to self: don't take any words of a person with flashy blue "Bioware" pic under their nickname for granted. It's about as valid as any random post made by any random member. Maybe even less so.

Changing the files and registry is not working properly.
It's working only for main game.

It's not working for:
- news;
- DLC.

It's like second grade kid was translating the game and was using parasite words "Eh, Ee" etc. Damn you EA Russia. It's your weakest work eva.

Thanks to Chris P. for LYING to customers that game will be supporting all languages and it can be changed in game's menu. Good work BioWare. No more trust in you. Steal the money from someone else next time.

Why in the hell they even left those VO and subs language options in the menu, when I can't change them?.. This is a joke. I'm also from Ukraine, but I don't think I need to know russian just because some suits decided it's some kind of province of Russia. If EA is so set on regionally locking languages, then the least they can do is make subs and menus for all the languages the region includes. Yeah, make it ukrainian.

any update on this? apparently making this registry change also is affecting multiplayer. keep on getting error about dlc in the middle of matches. bought my copy from offgamers as well.

same thing to me, but from english to french live in quebec canada but for america its english only , so my game is stuck in english and cant set it to french, any files i can download to get this fix so i can finally play the game i freaking paid?

Yeah, this. The news ticker works fine tho and uses Eng.

This "fix" lacks some required files. I suggest you go to a certain unsinkable website and search for a "Mass Effect 3 International Language Pack". It contains everything you need

You need to have *en_US.dll and BioG*INT.tlk files which are mentioned in this thread before, to make all working fine with SKU file from my post above.

Same for French-English release, you just need to have French language files.

The "fix" which I've provided above is unlocking possibility to change languages in game now. But if you will have no resource files (voice and subtitles) then of course it will be a mess.

You also need to have proper PCConsoleTOC.bin and possibly PCConsoleTOC.txt files. The ones in the "RU Only" release are messed up. Without those files replacing SKU.bin will enable language switching in-game, but subtitle languages other than Russian will not activate.

Start the game, go to menu and change the language.

If you have RU or any other version and you want to have it unlocked with other languages, then you need to have Language Packs for these languages (search for them somewhere, it's not allowed here) and just to use SKU file from above.

I've checked the files, they are absolutely the same in all versions, I've not replaced them and all works fine for me.
