I've checked the files, they are absolutely the same in all versions, I've not replaced them and all works fine for me.

Not for me. PCConsoleTOC.bin included in the Russian Digital Deluxe release is 344 544 bytes in size, and if you do a text search for "tlk" in the file, you'll see that it contains only a reference to BIOGame_RUS.tlk. The proper international file included in the language pack I mentioned a couple of posts earlier is 858 836 bytes in size and contains references to ALL *tlk files. I also had my friend test it, and he confirmed that the subtitles would not switch properly until he replaced PCConsoleTOC.bin.

There's already a language pack available on a certain unsinkable website which contains all the needed files (not just dll + tlk), including PCConsoleTOC.bin and txt.

I just picked up the language pack you guys mentioned and it does not include the PCConsoleTOC.bin and txt. It only has the .dll and .tlk files which I've already acquired prior to posting here. Don't get me wrong though, I really appreciate all of your help!

EDIT: Nevermind! I was looking at the other .zip folder I originally had. Time to take this for a test drive.

Haha! Sorry! I downloaded like three different language packs prior to yours and looked in the wrong one

Now we just need to fix the problem of being unable to host with modified files.

EDIT: Well, nevermind. It seems as though your fix has allowed me to host games now. You, sir, are a genius.

I haven't checked yet, but the solution described on page 4 should do the trick (because it causes the game to "think" the version is international).

Have you tried it?

That fix doesn't work with 1.1 version - its just symbols and numbers again

(they have been updated by today's patch I guess).

Pffft... whatever I do with files after relaunching Origin it autoupdates files to the "correct" version.
Also looks like .tlk file also got updated...
I know updates can be turned off, but still, I need the new English files. Anyone?

Just noticed, in Origin Mass Effect 3 is now stated without "RU". Just:
Mass Effect 3 Digital Deluxe Edition (well, for me at least)

Bump! I also need a fix for this as I too have the RU edition.

The only method that helps me now is to replace files as described earlier and disable autoupdate in Origin (thus preventing it to rewrite replaced files).

I am not sure, but Resurgence pack works fine for me that way (tested by playing on new maps). Haven't seen any new weapons, but I guess everything will be fine with it also.
Still, trying original international files will be great...

That's odd... Following your steps worked for me! Thanks a bunch! I had originally replaced the files but left auto-updates on and kept receiving a message saying my DLC was corrupted.

Google Mass Effect 3 Language Pack - the all-knowing google gonna show you the path to certain *secret website*. DL that pack, follow instructions. Worked for me
