I managed to find a copy of the Xbox 360 version of the N7 Collectors Edition at Walmart about a month ago - we pre ordered this for a second time (Gamestop already screwed me over by canceling my previous order there). Just recently I found that my copy was canceled again! I called Walmart and they claimed ""we can't even find it in our data base anymore - maybe there's a problem with the game itself?""

Now this just kind of pissed me off as I've been a humble little follower of Mass Effect since its birth; but as of late its becoming more of a chore than anything. I've contacted a few friends and many have stated their orders were canceled or removed - not due to lack of availability but due to something else.

I can't find a single copy any where now and honestly thats just stupid. I guess my only chance now is to go from store to store on the 6th and see if ANYONE has a "spare copy" of the game I can buy.

Bioware - you just let one of your biggest fans down already by screwing him out of his game...twice...

Anyone else having the same problems?

Anyone have any tips for obtaining a copy of this game ?

Same problem here. I ordered the collector's edition back in june from the Origin website and it has been canceled yesterday ''at the request of the fulfiller and/or manufacturer''.... mission fail for EA. Currently trying to resolve the issue with a EA employee....

Right now my friend from England lost her copy from "Game" and actually found one on Amazon for £60. I can't find any copies less than $200.00 though - and its really annoying how I spent all that time and all that money on a gaming franchise that I love and still try to take seriously (though ME3 is getting more and more crappy by the second); only to get nothing.

I want the damn N7 Edition - I'd happily pay my money for it - but I'm not paying $100.00+ for something especially after losing three pre-orders.

Now the funny part is that Walmart doesn't even have the collectors edition on their website or ANYTHING anymore. Neither does Kmart, Game Stop, or Best Buy. Though the guys at Best Buy told me to ""Go out on the release and find someone who has a copy"".

Maybe the Bioware employes or even the forum mods will feel pain for some of us who keep getting screwed over and will politely aid is in our pursuit. I'd prefer all the DLC bonus's and the books etc that come with the collectors edition - especially since I doubt you can use microsoft points to buy it on its release ....

Me and many other where i live EA cancelled all of our Collectors editions pre-orders from what seems all other stores that sell electronics....are other places having the same issue?

Yea I had my pre-order canceled due to "GAME"pulling out due to "lack of stock" (not how they put it but its basicaly the same reason) quite anouyed throu as now I can't find it any wear other tan E-bay but I might me an ME fan but I' no mug (no offence) I mean over £140 come on that's exterstion! I'll just wait and see if EA can somehow retifiy this problem. The could post pron the N7 release date till.he can get like 10+ Million copys lol. I know this might sound hash but I'm willing to wai a little longer and I am not going to get a stanard edition cuz that will mean I've got ME 1&2 CE's and an odd ME 3! I am jut a little angry at the mo sorry all.

I don't have the ME1 collector edition but I might buy one if they have one just for the ****s of it. As for ME2 I bought that collector edition.

Is there any news on in-store pick ups or of EA/Bioware releasing more copies later like most good developers do? I'd happily wait a few extra days/weeks to get Mass Effect 3 N7 Edition if I could find it for a reasonable price..not this $300.00+ bull****.

I actually got screwed over in the opposite direction. I pre-ordered online and tried to cancel it (as I wanted to participate in the midnight release). I paid off the one in-store at Gamestop and got told not to worry about the pre-order online. It would just go away.

Well, joke's on me because they charged me for both -- twice.
I'm out almost 200 bucks and now I have the hassle of returning stuff. Pain in the butt. That's more on Gamestop than BioWare, but BioWare has done some pretty messed up crap to me in the past (like charging me three times for an order I tried to cancel -- they still send me messages about an open case).

I preordered the CE from wallyworld in July and in Dec their computer cancled my order.After a week of heated e-mails I made a new pre-order.Yesterday I e-mailed them about why my order wasn't in the mail system yet with a delivery date of the 6th,today got a answer that said"The release date is the 6th so that's when it will be mailed".$#@%# now I'll get it fri,sat or next week.

I got mega screwed over because Gameplay more commonly known as Game/Gamestation have decided to stop stocking EA games and everyone who preordered (me,included) cannot get any money back off anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its because all game reatilers want the copies for themselves!!!!!!!
