Is it secure to use the Proxy? Im from EU 2 and release date is for me 9. March ( 3 days... ffs ) but im afraid if ill get all pre-order items and i have Collector Edition or if it will not cause in MP to use only US/Asia servers after 9. march also or something else

i tried so many proxys now, is it possible that firewalls etc... are preventing the proxy to work or origin to recognize?

It's safe, even if you've seen the message that itll first unlock on march 9th, you can still login with a proxy and you'll see its march 5th ( and itll unlock )

No proxy is working for me, Origin either won't log in or i get logged in in offline mode. FlyVPN is a fickle beast, can't connect.. argh thursday? Really?

I've tried loads of proxies, but origin wont have it. I wonder if my router is causing the issue. Can't turn that off though coz my brother will get pissy.

So i tried LOTS of proxys, finally i found out how it worked out
You have to click on properties on your now using internetconnection and there set the proxy instead of just in the lan menu before. sorry for my horrible english, so...

NOT proxy settings-->Lan settings

proxy settings-->properties of your internet connection--->proxy lan settings

now i`ll dive into the game gl everyone!!!!

Ok.....managed to finally get it working.

Goto Start Menu-> Search bit-> type in: proxy -> click configure proxy server -> Under Local Area Network (LAN) Settings, goto Lan Settings -> check the "use proxy...." -> use address:27.101.112.11
port: 8080
check bypass proxy server for local addresses
press ok

log into origin, run the release check, and all should work. just afterwards go back to that proxy server menu, and uncheck "use proxy..." to go back to normal internet.

Hope that helps anyone out, as it worked for me and i've been at it for 2 hrs now -.- finally the reaper hunt begins !!!

I'm not sure but one would think that any information that goes through can be spyed on. After my many failed attempts I changed my origin password. Can't be too careful.

I have tried at least 10 different proxy servers and although the internet works, mass effect 3 fails to unlock. What am I doing wrong, and is my origin password now in the hands of multiple korean spies?

U can just enable the VPN/Proxy after u loged Origin. Why it dont work for u i dont know i didnt try it yet im still thinking if do it or no.. Im too much scary

Nothing is working for me right now - if I use a proxy(correctly), Origin simply refuses to get online, if I use FlyVPN is still says I have to activate it on the 9th. Any ideas?

Did we ever get an anwser from Bioware if this will result in Origin bans for vpning and unlocking ME 3?
