Not sure this concerns any other country, but I thought I'd flag it nonetheless.

I live in Switzerland where all retailers advertise the game as released on March 8. I called to check as I thought it was odd, seeing that the EA page seems to bundle Switzerland with EU2, thus a release date of March 9. Three retailers tell me over the phone that their date is March 8. But when I run the Release Date check on my preload, it states March 9 at 1:00am.

So I contact EA Support, who confirm that the Swiss release date is indeed March 8 (contradicting their webpage) and assure me not to worry as my game will unlock on the 8th, despite the information on the release date check.
Why am I not reassured?! And anyone else have this problem?

I live in Latvia, 100m away from my friend. He's client shows March 8, 20:00 as release date. I've got March 9, 02:00.
Give us, DDE owners, a solid March 6 date as was promised!

These are the official releases according to USA time not where you live

NA March 6, 2012
AU March 8, 2012
EU March 9, 2012
JP March 15, 2012

They wont change them because they don't want to anger retailers.

Actually, seph22, that's not entirely correct. If you look at this page https://help.ea.com/...e?showhome=true, you'll see they have 2 dates for Europe and use the local time.

The problem in my case is that according to EA Support and the Swiss retailers, that page is wrong, but according to my Release Date Check, that page is right. So the physical copies in Switzerland will be playable 1 day before the digital copies.

zoNiklv, it says at the top of page I just linked in my earlier thread: "The release times for Mass Effect 3 are listed below. Please note, these apply to both digital and physical distribution."

I guese i missed that part, still it basically confirm the same thing for most countries in EU

EU Release 2

Ireland (IE)
Italy (IT)
Poland (PL)
Portugal (PO)
South Africa (ZA)
United Kingdom (GB)

All other countries unlock with EU2

@seph22: In Switzerland the game should release on March 8, according to the confirmation email I received, the retailers and EA Support that I contacted earlier.

It's only my DDE release date check and that webpage that list March 9.

So unless someone corrects the Swiss DDE release date check, the end result will be that physical copies through retailers will be released 1 day before the digital versions are unlocked. Which is ridiculous.

How on Earth, or in Mass Effect space, you would explain me and my friend having different Release dates showing within the game? Lmfao.

Physical copies may be released but because they too will have Release Date check, on PC, they will still be unplayable until its unlocked through that (just like the digital versions through origin.) I had a similar issue with Dragon Age 2 last year, it was shipped to me and arrived on Thursday, it was out in america but the UK release date was Friday so I had a game I'd paid for but was unable to play for 24 hours.

I am a Swiss and due to all this that is written down here and the fact that we now have the 8th and I cannot play my game yet due to a "date verification" slavery system until the 9th 01:00 (bed time thx a lot) and finally due to the fail communication from retailer devs publisher whoever responsible
I AM NOW PISSED OFF!
From the many posts in the forum about serious problems of getting the game to work and sometimes resulting in resignation I hope for you all that at 1 in the morning I will get that game to work without difficulties. What was the point of preordering if I am the last person in europe that gets to play it!!!
I could swear all day about origin and your game policy and your buggy and crashyness now I have the date check added to the list.
