I pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition of Mass Effect 3 a few days ago, via Origin.

Unfortunately, it seems that I am unable to pre-load the game as advertised (as in not finding the option to, nor being prompted to, pre-load).

What is required to pre-load the game?

Additional information:

Right clicking on the Origin 'banner' for ME3 in the My Games section has a grayed out option to "Preload Now".

How do I go about activating the ability to Preload?

When it becomes available, you should get an e-mail. you dont have to do anything, the download option will just appear.
I got mine around 18:30 GMT, and its downloading fine, so you should get yours soon

I do find it odd how you're given the E-mail but are still unable to do as instructed. As I have already seen the e-mail and still can't pre-load the game. Naturally, I'm waiting for this to happen but... it doesn't make it any less perplexing.

Edit: Using "Reload My Games" did nothing at all for me. I noticed Mass Effect 3's Ready To Download appeared once I right clicked and hit "Unhide". Good luck to everyone else.

I had to click on the little gear icon in origin and choose 'reload my games' to get the option to download. (PC of course)

I had the same problem. I logged out and back in and it was there ready to download!

I just preordered it, totally procrastinated... Anyway, did they cut off the preloads due to the imminence of launch?

EDIT:  Nevermind, I finally got my receipt (it was about half an hour ago, pretty slow...) and then five minutes later, I got the "PRELOAD NAO".  Went back into origin, and it magically ungrayed before my eyes.
