Yeah man, isn't it obvious, this is ACTION mode, where the conversation choices are pre-selected.
No.
Action mode = absolutely no choices anywhere, ever. None at all.
The gamespot video was the "RPG" mode, as there were one or two choices here and there.
You probably don't believe me, but whatever.

I saw the video. You see them going in the options where it says they have 'full conversations' selected.matt-bassist wrote...

Watch out, Chris Priestly is going to lockdown threads talking about it. He just locked down mine. This is very sad to see.

When you ignore people with logical conterpoints you too should be ignored.

I am certain, that that was, as other posters noted, because of the inflammatory content within it.PoliteAssasin wrote...

I'd take your own advice and reread the update Site Rules.

actually casey hudson said even in the action mode you will still have to choose major decisions.

Your thread had good intentions, it was locked not because of your OP, but because of the idiotic arguments that followed.PoliteAssasin wrote...

If there was any inflammatory discussion in my thread It certainly wasn't because of me or people who agreed with me, that's the trademark of the BDF to attack and insult people. But nice try though.

Old news. Every time I made a criticising thread that got some attention, it got locked.
I remember after playing the demo, I came on here, and made a thread that voiced my concern over the direction ME3 is taking, got to about 25 pages, mostly just rebutting everything I said because they don't to listen to the truth, and then it got locked.
It's funny, because it was actually relevant to mass effect, it just goes to show that Bioware is actually trying to excercise damage control now, tey must be kind of desperate to not let the truth get out of their hands.

Action mode still has choices only at very important part of the game.
Confirmed by Casey Hudson on the hotspot interview a day or two ago.
I feared there would be too much dialogues happening without my input.
What I loved in ME1 and 2 was when my shepard talked, it was my choice. My character always said what I wanted.
I just don't like it saying stuff by itself. This adds distance between me and my chara... I don't like.

It seems that the Palaven part is action. Nohing but action. No character interactions, no real dialogue but "witty" one liners. I guess they didn't feel the need to add some options into this. I hope it's an issue that is not widespread throughout the game.

I really can't see the point of importing if I'm not going to be able to play the character I was up to this point.

In those exact words?
Because that doesn't sound like choosing dialogue to me.
A "major desicion" is probably something like choosing to do a side mission or not, choosing to pursue a romance, that kind of thing.
Don't say i didn't warn you. You may be unpleasantly surprised.
