I assume he means that in a bad way, and not simply that he's done for the night?

I guess my Shepard can't be a dick anymore... just because he maxed out Paragon in the last two games.

"Part of what you have to start to do as a writer in those instances—and it’s not just with the big choices, it happens with the smaller choices that you encounter on a mission—is that you want a certain dramatic tension in it. With multiple outcomes, we know the drama isn’t going to be as high or as peaked in certain instances of that, but that’s the joy and the curse of giving player agency."
what smaller choices? we make none

If any of you can get in contact with devs or mods I'd say do so, Let them know how most of us feel. The more of us that bring these complaints to them the better.
They simply do not care. They're have been many threads since the demo that have been closed by them, or merely ignored. People on Gamefaqs, neogaf,etc.. have talked about it to no avail. BTW, change the title. It's not just the GS stream, we've seen it in full game streams now.

It's all good. Admittedly, it's kinda funny watching you go back and forth deciphering segments of what they say and then trying to translate for our benefit.

The game is out. We've seen over four hours of the gameplay. What's going to be different on tuesday other than the date?

I guess this is what BioWare ment when they said that your choices you made in the past games will matter in ME3. It seems, from what I have gathered, that the game will unfold diffrently in the auto-dialogue department, baised on your past actions. And that purely based on your Paragon / Renegade rating. Of course I could be wrong, but it sure seems like it.
I guess my Shepard can't be a dick anymore... just because he maxed out Paragon in the last two games.
Somewhat. It seems as if the only choices we have are big plot choices, or whether or not we are mad about the reapers killing people, or happy that we can have hope. From earth to Sur'kesh it's been only that, with the absence of huge choices. Very very little dialogue choice over that period. Many conversations don't have any at all, and they're with important individuals!

BW said they wanted to make ME3 more cinematic. They did. And you know what, it's going to get rave reviews. Might even be held up as BW's masterpiece. And maybe it will be ... to play through once. We knew this was coming when the Beta videos were leaked. It's sad and I hate it, but all good things and all that ...

The last question and answer in this interview explains why they went this route for the auto dialogue. Or at least it's all we have so far. Interesting read.

Just to highlight:
I’ll be honest, right now I have a stack of games that’s up to my knee that I haven’t played because I’ve been so busy with Mass Effect 3. So I’m excited to see what other people have been doing while I’ve been making a game. But I do know that between Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, one of the things I looked at was—I don’t know if I’d call it the writing, but the cinematic style and delivery of Uncharted 2 really drew my eye. I look at that and say, “Wow, those are some very compelling people.” I’m happy to sit there and watch what’s going on in that scene—I don’t even need interactivity in that scene because it’s so well done. And that was part of the game that I really wanted to strive for in Mass Effect 3 as well. And so I’m looking forward to playing a lot of other games as well. I’ve seen a bit of other ones out there—things like L.A. Noire, they had some interesting ideas of what they were doing for things like facial capture. Who knows where that could go.

So this is common throughout the whole game, not just one instance? Weird, little things are building up that aren't looking too positive IMO - this, the facial import issue, endings, etc. I'm not gonna say they don't care about their core audience, but those are so pretty big factors that matter to us.
For about 4-5 missions with lots of stuff in between, yes. Conversations with squadmates and key plot individuals are all automatic. Some have a maximum of 1 choice of expressing your opinion of the reapers. Many have no dialogue choice at all, it's just Shepard talking on his own, making his own decisions.

Well yes this is true but, we should still let them know how we feel about this issue. Look at the day one dlc thing. One guy who's kind of internet famous made a video and Hudson adressed it in no time.jbg927 wrote...
