I hope we get some kind of response on this monday.
I realize its a weekend so this thread already got to 60 pages... but we really need some kind of info here.
At best, they will tell us to give it a chance, which is already the wrong answer. We didn't want to take a chance on me3. We wanted the culmination of our experience with the first two games...not to be shunted aside in favor of players who couldn't be bothered to care or understand the kinds of games that made bioware respected.
I could have dealt with bioware going in whatever direction after ME3. Once EA bought them, I knew things would change, and not for the better. I just held out hope that Mass Effect 3 would come out alright. From everything I have seen, and now I have seen quite a bit, that hope feels dashed. Bioware couldn't wait. Instead of finishng off me3 properly, they are using it's a a bridge to a different kind of game for a different kind of player - players who don't care so much about story, who don't mind built in monetization, and don't quite care so much about the game. They'll play, buy their map packs, and when they got bored, move on. They will know everything about cooldown times and power exploits, but wouldn't be able to tell you the difference between a keeper and a reaper.
That is who EA wants. Those of us on this thread...we are old news.
