Anyone who wants to register their game should eb able to do so. All the detail is on your profiles here
Apparently I must be pants-on-head retarded, because nothing I could find on that link or any of the other pages it links to have worked for me. I spent hours earlier today looking through ea's help forums and googling the problem but the advice I've found is either:
1)Make sure your gamertag attached to your BSN account is the same as the one you're playing ME3 on, etc...well I don't have my gamertag linked and I don't know how to link it
2)Download a demo with online capabilities and use it to log into EA/ find the right gamertag/something-The screen it says will pop up where you can put in your info never does.
It shouldn't be so hard to register a game, why can't I just put in my registration code like in the old days? 3DStudioMax was easier to figure out than this problem D:
Given my experiences with Biowares support for ToR, I'm not holding much faith in their support elsewhere, tbh.
The support for ToR was so bad that I after over a week of being unable to access my ToR account and support just giving me copy/paste answers instead of actually fixing my problem, decided to inform them that I wanted my ToR account cancelled.
If the support is THAT bad for a MMO (where support is one of the most important assets in the game), I can't imagine how low-budget and poor it is in other areas.
Here's a tip for EA/Bioware: Thinking you can write down a 'few lines' in how to deal with every issue you can run into is hubris (we are all human, after all, and nobody can anticipate everything), and counter to why you actually HAVE a support team. Support isn't supposed to just read out from an FAQ, but actually support the users.
