Hi,

I entered my DLC Code for the Collector Assault Rifle which I received from Barnes and Noble today.  When redeemed the code it told me that it was successful but adviced that I had unlocked an unknown or undefined item (can't recall the exact wording).  The Collector Assault Rifle is not shown in my registered game content and the code can't be redeemed again as it's now used..

Will I still received my promo content or has it been lost?

Look at you Origins client and click the "I" icon for more info game detail on Mass Effect 3 icon or right click to bring up the menu to look for more info,this will show all
avialable download section.

Exact same experience here.

Got the email from B&N earlier today (at long last!!!). Email mentionned it was a limited time link and prompted me to redeem quickly. Click on the link. "Redeem Promo Code" page from BSN pops up. Log in as usual. Copy paste the code.

Then it says, code succesfully redeemed. Your unlocked content: unrecognized item.

Uh... What the hell?

Anyone can shed a bit of light on this one? Will the content unlock later? Is the code gone for good? Who should I ask? Barnes & Noble? Bioware? HELP!!!

Forgot to mention: I am playing on the 360.

I don't suppose this will change anything since most promotionnal DLC for Dragon Age II was available for all platform once unlocked.

Same as BioTick here. I imagine this will work itself out since it recognize the code. Still it be nice to have some conformation.

I tried to check in Origin but as I have no copy of ME3 registered yet I don't have an "I" to click on.

Same thing here. Maybe it hasn't been updated on the Bioware side yet, but some confirmation would be nice.

Bioware staff are working on it. if, in the end it doesn't we'll RE-contact them !

Something Im curious about any it's tangentially related: Is the collectors rifle from Me2 CE the same as this one? 

Will the Me2 CE rifle transfer to ME3 Multiplayer?

Is it the same rifle? Yes, definitely the same shield eating rifle ME2 CE included

Does it unlock automatically if you had ME2 CE? Errr... No, afraid not. You had to pre-order The Art of the Mass Effect Universe book through Barnes & Noble to get it in ME3 multiplayer.

And I strongly suspect it is just one of those "early access" deals, not the "once in a lifetime exclusive" type.

But that is just speculation on my part...

Somewhat glad I'm not the only person getting this unrecognized item. If it hasn't shown up by Tuesday or Wednesday I'll contact tech support - I just hope I don't lose the code since I already entered it. I'm guessing it's just a glitch because ME3 has not been released yet so therefore dlc extras aren't showing up...

The 8th needs to hurry up, release on the 6th + 2day shipping

You may be able to get it if you get it brand new. At least for some games you can.
