This really wasn't needed and I can't believe you are carrying the increased rates into live as well.
The new drops rates are way too high. I get a gold or silver in every single box.
Vet is SUPPOSED to guarantee uncommon or better.

Hi everyone!
We hope you’ve been having a great time with the multiplayer demo for Mass Effect 3. If you haven’t had an opportunity to try it out, don’t miss your chance: this weekend is the final weekend of the multiplayer preview and the servers will be taken offline on the morning (PST) of Monday, March 5. The Single-player demo will continue to be available.
We also wanted to let everyone know that we’ve been listening to your feedback, and during the final weekend of the multiplayer demo we will be increasing the chances of unlocking rare race/class combinations. This adjustment to unlocks will carry forward into the main game.
Finally, for a little taste of the amazing multiplayer content coming when the game releases on March 6, make sure you check out the Integrated Co-Op Multiplayer page on www.masseffect.com, where we’ve uploaded panoramic screenshot galleries from a number of new multiplayer maps!
On a scale of 1-10 how much does MP seriously help in getting a better ending?
...
Are we still asking that question?
Also, guess it's time to start working for that Quarian again...
Does everybody on the forum know every single minute detail about Mass Effect 3?
No.
Has been announced in the FAQ, the initial announcement, several smaller interviews, and been confirmed many times on the forums that the optimal ending can be achieved without touching multiplayer, and that multiplayer only has an impact on the outcome if you choose to import your characters?
Yes.
You'll have a war assets bar that you will be managing and filling up. You fill this up by doing sidequests and planet scanning. Mulitplayer is nothing more than another method to fill the bar. That's about all we know.
Seriously is it that hard to understand? The MP campaign is not at the expense of the SP campaign. Playing MP is not going to shorten your SP experience.Arlionis wrote...

Wait... but what if I want to play the multiplayer AND also do all the sidequests and planet scanning? I don't want the MP to shortern my singleplayer experience. Should I play the SP first and then the MP?

Always capitulating to forum demands, Bioware. Now people will have nearly everything unlocked by week's end. Good job shortening multiplayer's lifespan.
