Proof that chances to unlock weapons are very very less compared to already unlocked character unlocks
Developers plz increase the chances of unlocking weapons...

Interesting. I've bought, I think, 11 veteran packs since the change. 4 golds--a Krogan soldier, Asari Adept, Quarian Engineer, and Carnifex--and the rest were Mattock/Scimitar/Viper. Wonder if there's more to it than just an increased character unlock, as the Adept and Engineer were the only two classes I hadn't yet unlocked.NOO3TASTIC wrote...

Agreed, once you unlock full customization and level 20 for a character those character cards becomes useless. The fact that every vet pack usually contains only one gold card and seeing that card occupied by a gold character card that is useless every time is frustrating.
Even if the increased gold character card drop rate does not affect gold weapon drop rate, I do hope they can fix the unlock system so that once you've maxed out a character you won't recieve those character cards. I mean, I'd rather have a few more equipment cards or even 1-2 less cards instead of seeing wasted gold card slots.
Still, incredible game, hats off to all Bioware staff.

EDIT: I too am curious about the weapons, whether Demo feedback will be used to revisit the utility of certain weapons/classes. I am aware that the demo contained only an abridged selection of the content present in the full game, but the way certain weapons and classes are emerging as clear winners and some total losers is troubling to me.

but still, just like other people here already statet, it would be absolutly great if you could get rid of the possibility of getting useless character-cards once you maxed out their respective level and options of customisation
it would be far better if you'd make them inaccessible and ,once you've reached that, increase the drop chance of "rare" weapons that aren't maxed out or even obtained by then
this change would take away a huge disadvantage of the whole "randomness" as well as a lot of frustration which a lot of players (me included) faced in the demo
also it would guarantee that every aspect of the mp is definitaly unlocked after a certain time played
