I play everyday and I always play with me logged in, but my character stats, achievements, story progress, etc. have not been updated online in 5 days...  is anyone else having this problem?  BTW, my online profile says that my character is level 7, when he is actually level 9.

Yeah, I have the same thing. Mine hasn't been updated in 4 or 5 days as well. Well, some things have been, but not the characters.

Snaggly, I have the exact same issue, which is hindering me from getting any points towards achievments or dowloadable content, such as Warden's Keep, etc. I posted almost the same just after you did and I hoping for a fix response.

Let's hope something is in the works.  The weird thing is that everything seemed to be updating fine about 5 days ago so I'm not exactly sure what has happened since then to screw things up.

I've had the same problem. My character is level 15, and the most current version of her on the site is level 9. Better than the previous level 1, however. None of the story stuff is up either. Does have accurate stats though (not equipment, but stats), so she's a pretty uber level 9.

none of the characters i created in game are showing but the achievements do kinda weird

I've finished a run though on one character, she is not showing at all.
All
the achievements are though ... strange.

This is an issue with the site and the Updating service, not really a PC Technical problem. If you take a look at the Social.bioware.com Site Help forum you'll find lots of threads on this very subject, from players of ALL game versions. You could also check the site's FAQ page for more info. Basically, I think just about every player has had or is having problems with the uploading/updating of their character stats.

Er, you have to buy the BioWare Points with real money to purchase Warden's Keep (unless you purchased a downloadable version of the game), you don't get any points towards achievements or for getting any DLC! Achievements are earned by doing various things in the actual game, uploading character stats etc, does not earn you any BioWare Points. If you want Warden's Keep and/or the upcoming Return to Ostager, then you'll have to purchase the BioWare Points (go to Profile -> Add BioWare Points in the menu under your avatar) to add the BioWare Points to your "wallet". Then, from the Downloadable Content tab in-game you can spen the BioWare Points on purchasing Warden's Keep etc.

well i heard if you turn on the dev console it will stop updating chars for that account but then again it could be a rumor and i am on day 16 without an update to my chars.

Does it really matter if its not updated? What's important is the stability of the game. Bragging rights by uploading achievements to the online profiles is totally pointless.

I think my character profile stopped updating when I enabled the developer console and meant to give myself a few gold and an extra 0 made it 1000. whoops. I heard that stuff like that gets your profile labeled as a cheater and you're screwed. I don't know if thats 100% accurate but there are some console commands for like unlocking all achievements that will flag cheater on your profile afaik.

well mine updated. i think if you don't launch the game with the shortcut -enabledeveloperconsole it will update as intended.

mine started timing out while connecting to the online profile about the same time I ran it with the console the first time. I only ran it once and only flagged morrigan for romance, and every time after I ran it without the console on, but still get the timeouts. might be validity to the rumor, although I haven't checked the site to see when my last update was.

however, despite being kind of neat to see what your toons are doing on the website I don't feel it's all that critical to the game experience so aside from an annoying error message it's no big deal.

EDIT: the site says it updated this morning, and it looks pretty current, so maybe there were jsut some server problems over the weekend.

I'm having the same problem as just about everyone here, and I also turned on the Developer Console, but do they really expect anyone not to? You've got to at least see some of the Dev commands in action, right?



I hope that it's a stupid pointless rumor, or that if it's true that there is a way to undo it. However my achievements are still updating, just not my characters, at all. So if the Dev Console flags you as a cheater wouldn't it make sense to stop all updates, rather than just character information?



My Dwarf Warrior is listed as level 6 when he's actually around level 16, but all of the achievements I have earned on him, and on my new character (that isn't even showing up at all) are updating perfectly, within an hour of my actually earning them.

My character portrait still hasn't even appeared, and it's been days since I started the game. Frustrating!

I have this problem yet never opened the developer console - I've finished the game and moved onto a new character yet my character page shows my character from around a week ago at level 10 with most of the game to complete.



So no, it's not the developer console, it's their crappy beta forum. Why they change forums at the exact time of a new game launch beats me - why not change forums far in advance and get the flaws ironed out first?

I had the same exact problem, and i was launching the game via a direct shortcut with enabled console. I tried launching the game through the proper launcher and voilà, it uploaded one of my 3 new characters!

Well its been months now and only 3 of my like 9 chars are even showing up on my profile, its always timing out of my online storage thingy and I have not altered the game or used the Dev console thing, and still my toons dont update. GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
