after a few minutes of "mature" and "unemotional" thinking i got the fact that control Ending is very good!

sheperd doesnt die and even the normandy is screwed to somewhere...

WE HAVE THE REAPERS!!!

meaning we have the full support of reaper tech for our selves! relays, citadel, geth all remade in few decades or even years
and the normandy is found by weeks or days if we send the reapies searching.

if im wrong just correct me. no trolling please.

Edit: added the normandy thing

According to reports that COntrol ending is the worst one.

Basically we've fallen into that singularity of technology that is so dangerous, and now we're more likely to fall into it.

Yes.

Relays still destroyed, Shepard dead, Normandy still stranded. Still a sh*t ending.

It's funny that the endings are so similar no one can really decide what it the best one.

No that's not how it'd work. The races would do things themselves and they'd reverse engineer, and the Citadel still exists in that one which means that a mass relay exists which means they can recreate that technology, or they can diverge and focus more on AI's.

There's a lot of dangers of the control ending.

"best" is slightly subjective there, lol.

The destroy ending is by far the worst because the entire cycle is reset. Literally EVERYTHNG that happened, not just the game actions but EVERYTHING including the reapers and all the multitudes they destroyed was for nothing. The synthesis ending is basically saying no, "we're smart enough to manage with perspective", but again that's only implied, not shown. The control ending basically sets up a minicycle where the culling cycle is put on hold until someone figures out what to do.

None of them are all that great, and the reaper exegesis is petty much scifi anime super villain speech #2:

"we're murdering the f@ck out of you to save you".

and of course speech #1 is "I always just wanted to be human"

Which is used for the AI throughout the series.

sigh.

Uh yes, because you'd be rendering the entirety of the galaxy devoid of resources once AI's started expanding.

Actually the destroy results in the destruction of all the Reapers.

Control is indeed the best ending as you pretty much can repair everything and get your body back. Second best is Merge as everybody now has understanding (what the **** this even means I have no clue) to prevent a Singularity. The worst far and away is Destroy as everybody is in a dark age.

You're not paying attention. Yes, the reapers are destroyed and thus so is the lesson they impart in the first place. It LITERALLY starts the WHOLE cycle, not just the reaper cycle again. Worst ending.

With Reaper-level tech, I'm sure (s)he could find a way to clone a new body for themselves and download into it.

Benefits of having an LI: residual DNA.

Control allows you to use their technology to over-advance yourself. That's worse.

This ending is good. One life saves many. It kinda goes with his name Shepard. I had a feeling something like this would happen. Reapers were interested in Shepard and they couldn't control him. I'm hoping he could use his power to save his crew.

I understand the concern. Maybe Mass Effect 4 can address this. The cost of Shepard not doing this maybe too high. Need to play the game for a final decision. You have a good point, but Shepard Paragon may not want to see so many dead.Image IPB
