There is not going to be a Mass Effect 4.  Bioware says this is the end of Shepard's journey.

Shepard's story is done, but they aren't done making games in the ME universe.

i liked the destroy ending because im pro-organic and a little anti-tech IRL. in other words, i love the Protheans. it doesnt stop the cycle per se, but Shep lives and the Crucible and reaper tech (whatever remained) are passed on. it's the best ending.

Control and Synthesis are the best endings.
Control sets up to Shepard coming back (Reaper technology can easily remake him if he desired it) and achieve Galatic peace between AI and Organics. But we loose free will on AI, which is a bad thing in my book. Everyone deserves free will. But Synthesis doesn't end the AI's free will. In Synthesis we may actually see Galatic peace arise from choice rather than imposed by Shepard controlling AI races because Organics and AI races now share DNA/Tech with each other.

I get this weird picture in my head of Shepard commanding the Reapers and husks to help rebuild the galaxy and the poor leftover races having to work side side with cannibals and brute's etc. Need Transport without the relays? Shepard will secure you transport on a very fast reaper ship. The collected genetic material of all the races spanning millions of years gets to take a break from killing and destroying. This is quite ridiculous.
