This is my list of random minor bugs that I've seen throughout Dragon Age.  Several are rather amusing but were mostly annoying.  If you have other bugs, feel free to add them to my list.

Oghren likes to keep his Legion of the Dead helmet on during conversations.  Including the ones where he's trying to hit up the dwarf servant in the Spoiled Princess.  He'll "remove" it in the middle of a conversation, usually when you click on the "end the conversation option" and he delivers his last few lines.

In the last scene with your party and everyone is giving their farewells, Oghren was saying something and then it switched to the last lines Wynne had given me (meaning Oghren's model was saying Wynne's lines in Wynne's voice).  That was...surreal.

I've had quest fights with a cut scene end, find myself still locked in the room and then have the entire cut scene repeat itself.  The most recent occurrence was in the orphanage with the blind templar.  Took a good minute or two before the game decided that the fight was over and I could move on although I managed to trigger the cut scene twice after the fight was over.  In Warden's Keep, this happened after the fight with Avernus except that it retriggered the fight.  And then refused to open the doors since I could "sense" (on my minimap) undead in the room above us but the door wouldn't open and I couldn't put my weapons away.  Had to reload to try that entire sequence of fights again.

I've had the entire "wait 30+ seconds for bodies to drop their loot".

In the Loghain fight (at the Landsmeet), my buttons switched order.  I had pushed the L2 button to bring up the radial menu and the fight didn't pause.  I couldn't select tactics so I pushed the L2 button again, the radial menu dropped and the fight paused.  I tried pushing every button on the controller, eventually turned the controller off.  This brought up the save/load/resume menu and when I turned on the other controller everything worked fine.  Neither controller has done anything similar before or since.  And yes, the controller was charged.

I've had (mostly Wynne's) dialogue go silent.  Or really quiet.  Basically, you can talk to a party member and they'll say something at normal volume and the next line will have the mouth moving but no sound coming out.  And then I'll get a dialogue option so I can at least see something of what they said.  Usually only lasts for a single piece of conversation.

There are a few other bugs but I'll fill them in when I get the details more accurately and my computer stops trying to eat my post.  Stupid post eating!

I wish I only had to wait 30 seconds.  I have gone the last 20+ hours of game play waiting a minimum of 30 seconds, usually its closer to a full minute and on occasion won't let me loot the body unless I exist the "instance" and come back in.

Also the game will randomly freeze, I haven't been able to determine if this is DA:O or my playstation.
Also >< this is my second hdd, the game froze and my hdd was destroyed. (read write arm froze against the disc)

my most experienced and most annoying bug is when im running through a city and i get thrown into a conversation with npcs, mostly merchants, out of the blue.

i can be running through redcliffe and out of nowhere im standing at the exit with the guy telling me they will die if i leave. i can talk to the dwarf merchant in denerim and exit, be on the other side of the city 5 minutes later and be teleported back as if i initiated trade again.

and yes the delayed loot is quite bad, but if you turn off the online options it works much faster.

At the ending, despite getting Alastair to relinquish all rights to the throne, Morrigan and Alastair both kept referring to the fact that he was going to be king.

As for the delayed loot, sometimes it was bad, other times it was non-existent. I usually find that if it's getting bad, I just restart the system while making myself a cup of tea.

New bug.

Triggered the Dagna quest in Orzammar and told her I'd get her to the Circle Tower. Went and talked to Irving, got his say so, decided to check for any forgotten loot in the tower. In the apprentice quarters, there was Dagna! I was a little startled since I hadn't gotten word to her yet, so I talked to her (she had the white quest arrow above her head too!). She gave me a spiel that clearly should have been delivered in Orzammar. Conversation ends, I find myself transported across the map to another part of the circle tower and now Dagna is happily in a library or something somewhere.

Quite baffling, really.

Alright, this forum likes to eat my posts.  Thus, I've deleted my double post.

I've had the whole loot-lag thing happening, and that blind templar quest bugged out on me too. Took me two hours of reloads to finally get it done. I find that if you skip through the cutscenes before the fights, it'll bug out, but if you just let it go, you won't have an issue. Also, don't talk to the NPC after the fight, or it'll just start everything over again.

Apart from that, I haven't encountered many other bugs, but I'll be on the lookout :P

I have had the loot lags and Dagna showing up in the Mages tower one also. Just for kicks I talked to her in the Circle Tower where she gave her speech about leaving immediatly for the tower, went back to Orzammar and found her standing outside the armor shop. I spoke to her and she gave a little quip about how great it is to be in the tower. The most jarring conversation one I have had was at the end before the final blow to the dragon where you have to decide if you or Alistair would make the sacrifice. I made Anora sole ruler and left Alistair as a grey warden. When the topics come up all of Alistairs comments revolve around him being king. I was like dude, I made the haughty yet lovely Anora queen all by herself. Not game breaking but jarring as far as continuity is concerned.

I noticed another one last night. I fell in love with Walking Bomb and Virulent Walking Bomb, and I noticed that in the tooltip, it says that it's supposed to be nature (green numbers) damage, but it actually registers as spirit damage (purple numbers), which allows me to use it against undead with no problems at all. Not sure if this is actually a bug, or if had been reported already, but... kind of interesting.

I've just started playing the game, and I've had 5-10 second freezes during battle and random textures will flash random colors. The only time this doesn't happen is during cut scenes. It gets very annoying

I just noticed that some of my codex entries appear to be incorrect. Have any of you experienced this? I did the redcliffe quest and used the circle mages to enter the fade and save conner, but codex says isolde died to save him. She was clearly in the cs with conner after I saved him and I had already killed the bloodmage in the dungeon. Does it always say this in the codex?

Hmm, after exiting a cutscene in the Arl of Redcliffe, both my characters arms are now stuck at 90 degree angles, in battle, in cutscenes, when casting spells... all of it.

Interesting stuff and I have encountered some of them, but while it is easy to determine most of the bugs as simple coding errors, I'm having hard time deciding wether this one is because of DA:O or my PS3:

Every now and then when I start up DA:O from games, it goes to black screen as normal but then freezes and doesn't move on to that flashing red&white morrigan/dragon load screen. It completely freezes and doesn't let me return to PS3 menu either so I have to turn power off and back on which I'm assuming won't be good thing for the console in long run. I have tried to hold restart button for 6 seconds which results with restart sound but doesn't actually restart. It doesnt let me eject the disk either. Only have had this happen with DA:O.

Anyone else having this or should I be more worried and turn to PS3 console forums?
