We already got prof that the fish becomes an asset if you're playing a new game plus
http://pastebin.com/hRks27wB
That dosent mean much but SOMETHING has to happen if you save the fish in NG+ (even if its just a small extra scene, i bet its nothing really important)

Now if they patched it in or some other nonsense than that's possible. However in the vanilla game, there is NO secret ending.

Oh crap, guys dont get your hopes up you know what happens
I would hope most just approach this the same way I just did. Provide your evidence to prove your claim. Right now I'm not bothered by their being no "bittersweet ending/reunion with the LI/Normandy not getting stranded or trashed with crewmates possibly getting killed" But it wouldn't bother me if all those people who wanted that ending ended up getting what they wanted. I do sympathize with them a little.
In any case no big deal for me.

Sounds fishy. Like the "Kill 150 types of pokemon to unlock Pikablu" fishy.
Missingno for DLC squadmate/LI!

Eh, it basically just boils down to more dakka = better ending.

Same. Maybe it'll be more simplistic when we play the game.Humanoid_Typhoon wrote...

Perhaps it is the spirit of a long dead king and grants us a wish for keeping it safe. It's on the war asset list so it must be useful.

I hope so, I got no problems doing all the sidequests and all that but I don't wanna be in a rush like in ME2 if you didn't go straight for your crew they die.Elegana wrote...

What if unpatched its "locked" and BW was waiting for the game to come out to unlock it through a patch. I mean BW has never done anything sneaky like that but I can see it happening.

Well what would you expect to happen if the collectors captured your crew? To smoke cigars with them and play poker?
That's what they did, but they lost at poker and the consequence was being turned into orange-goo.
