As I said, I've read lots of his stuff. Hes an old school rpg and strategy guy. He compares ME3 with the original KOTOR which seems to be his favorite Bioware games.

Maybe he prefers grim dark endings but that doesn't make his opinion of the game any less valid.

The gameplay is fine. I mean it. It's a creamy and satisfying combination of ME1 and ME2. The level design IS better. The story is also fine.....until it collapses in a pile of it's own imagined gravitas and we realise what we knew all along: It just couldn't be done. This happens....about halfway through, although you may disagree.

And out of all the gaming sites out there, at this point I trust IGN the least.
