No, In my headcanon, my Shepards were always going to die, so if the game enables/enforces that, I'm happy. I'll also relish the horrible end that BioWare devised for their most Marty Stu/Mary Sue characters and pity the fans of those characters.
Will you cry at the end of Mass Effect 3?

I don't remember lots of people dying, including the main character, the rest of the main cast being stranded on an island somewhere and the entire world being screwed over because the major means of transportation were destroyed at the end of Princess Bride. Maybe I need to watch it again.

Maybe. Probably not for the reasons BioWare would hope.

It ends like a mixture of Princess Bride, Futurama: Wild Green Yonder, and The Matrix Reloaded. Yes... that's just as bizarre as it sounds.

Nice necro, Mordin was sad as hell... total quality right up to the end and then it all fell apart.

I have played bioware games since planescape. Despite being heavily portended, the last half hour had me swallowing hard.
Personally, I loved the end, with ****spoiler alert.....Shepard dying...Spoiler alert*** , simply because I read in between the lines of dialogue. Despite not fitting with the other mass effect games.......

I don't intend to ever get to the ending im going to play to the point where the game warns you before you launch your suicide mission on the reapers than turn the game off and just headcanon the entire battle.

I cried at Mordin. I still cry when I remember the "would've like to analyze the seashells"-line. It was very well written. I almost cried at Legion (took the choice of both Geth and Quarians), but he never grew on me, because of the time he's with the Normandy, only two missions really in ME2.
The end made my cry not because of any emotional greatness, but because it sucked like hell and ruined to whole franchise for me. That much of work and choices and what do we get? Rail-roaded kick in the nuts. Yes, I cried. It is quite rare to find an ending so horrible it makes me wish I never picked up ME1... I would've been happier if ME3 never released, or I would've never hear about the whole universe. I absolutely LOVED ME1 and VERY MUCH liked ME2, but to have THAT as and ending to the whole trilogy... no. Just, no.

I would have cried for the first few seconds I thought Grunt was dead, but I was too busy having a heart attack over it. And then I was like "yeah sure Mordin go do your thing and cure the genophage" because I thought it was gonna end up being another Grunt scene. Boy was I wrong
. That broke my heart.
And thane dying...I think I scared the crap out of my roommate. I was basically yelling at the screen when he got stabbed. This game was so amazing and emotional...
And then I went through the stupid beam at the end and it all went to crap. Worst Endings Ever. Didnt live up to standards

Mordin dying was heart wrenching, definitely cried like a little baby. "Would have liked to study the seashells." is probably the most heartbreaking line in the game.
