I`m trying since today morning, nothing there, still all grey... tried with my XP PC and with my new Windows 7 PC...

Got the mail from the support today that its ready to load...

Well, my copy of the deluxe edition seems to be ok, preloaded the main file, got 2 other files to do, these will be released in 3 days and 6 hours (0.00am Friday), I know that'd be early than some people but was kind of hoping it'd be a full day ahead. Oh well, looks like an early afternoon sleep in and then install it all at midnight and play away

When I order I order the english version of the game. I don't know but when I order I was loged into the EA website in the states, then upon ordering, it send me to the german website, I guess because of the MAC address on my wireless card. Anyway, I sure hope to be able to start the game right away; if not then I wait for couple of more days.

To those that says it does not appear in the EADM: Same happened for me. Then I logged out and a while later when I logged in, it contacted the server to refresh its list and lo and behold DA:O was now on the list.

I`ve ordered the german DDE on Oct, 13th for my wife, got the mail that its ready today morning(10 hrs before) still nothing to load...

Is there any german who can download the german DDE ?

My internet is usually much fast than this - either the neighbours are downloading something big or EA store is being overworked!

Same here. It's ridiculous really. Why would the button ever be gray? If the game is listed in the EADM, it means you've bought it and it's up for download. This is like having to wait for approval to eat your food after you've bought it.

At least you can see this game listed on the EADM...all I can see is just grey background and no buttons. As this is my first purchase from EA I hope that this is the way it should be till they release the game for downloading.

While I might understand how having different release dates in US and the rest of the World might have had sense 10 years ago, now it seems ridiculous.



II have the game downloaded already, and yet I can not play it... had I used some proxy to pretend I'm in US and buy from the US eastore, I'd be playing now.

 The whole point of preloading would be that we could download it before that time.

i do believe there is some kind of country restriction involved. check your ea store, when pre-load opens up for you.
