If that weren't the end of the game, yes.
The fact that it's implied that they're not going to be rescued, no.

Also, Stanley or someone will be in here shortly to clean up and redirect you.

Oh, I understand.
But they're still likely going to redirect you.
Hell, they redirected the one topic in support of them (but then again pointed out that it "degenerated" to people not liking the ending, like we're inferior).

A victory without sacrifice would've cheapened the whole Reaper threat.

i'm not saying it had to be that way, but maybe shepherd was with the crew of the Normandy at the end? that would have been cool

But I want my relays. Warp drive is too hard.

It must be. Otherwise there's two people that like the ending.

Uh oh. They're growing in numbers...
Soon they'll have... three.

Do I like them as negative or neutral endings? Sure. Do I like them as the only endings? Hell No.

Its about as intriguing as the thought of them doing this just to have some stupid plot device for ME4 or DA3.

Yeah, I said DA3.

The big issue with the endings is they make no sense. Why does the Normandy get stranded every time? Why does Shepard not cut off her/his hand or something in the merge ending, how the hell does merge even work outside space magic, how does Shepard survive Destroy if Destroy kills all synthetics and the guardian says to Shepard. "You are also synthetic." Why does every ending get the same lame epilog, why do the two squadmates we take with us to the final battle somehow end up on the Normandy and why do the relays always blow up?

It's just lazy and horrible writing.

The endings that have been spoiled are fine if that's what you want, and I have no problem with those as possible endings. However, it seems that there should be a range of endings from happy to grim dark.

Myself, I don't necessarily want an impossibly happy ending, but that idea that I could bust my butt to survive and save those I care about against the backdrop of galactic ruin only to be forever separated from those I care about and have them doomed to a lingering death on an uncharted world ... That's just a slap in the face for all my hard work. If that's the very best I can expect, I imagine I'll be making at least one playthrough where I burn it all in fit of pique. If I can't be at least somewhat happy, then no one anywhere gets to be happy.

Because to me, a truly bittersweet ending ending is one that offers hope against the backdrop of despair and there is nothing about any of what we've heard that offers much hope for any of the characters.

the endings wouldn't be so bad if they had another more positive one to go along with it

Why do people keep making these threads? Is it to simply incite more anger and then watch as the chaos unfolds or do you just want to see how it feels to be consumed by the flames?

Honestly, I'll settle for one that doesn't have 90% in come with all the other endings.
You know, some actual variation.

I find the endings pretty happy.

All this whining just because fanboys can't see their Shepard marry Liara/Tali.

Actually, it's because the galaxy is devoid of life.
