 I'm sure this topic comes up a few times a year but I'm new to this forum so let's hear it. Tell us your favorite squad member and why. 

For me it's gotta be Mordin. He's such a complex character. He's hilarious and at times psychotic but through it all you see he's got a big heart and has a lot of guilt for some of the things he's done in his past. His one liners were the highlight of Mass Effect 2 for me.

I heard you have to choose between Mordin or Wrex in ME3 or something? If that's the case.. I'm saving Mordin.

Mordin is easily in my top 5, but my #1 favorite is Miranda. Not only is she insanely useful in combat, but I also adore her personality and character.

My other favorites are probably Liara, Thane, and Garrus.

Thane is my number 2. Another super deep, complex and well written character.

Legion because of the interesting philosophy he brought to the game. Thane because of how complex he was.

I completely ignored Zaeed the first time around and then he became one of my favorites for my Renegon playthrough.

... OH.  And Joker!

On a side note, she's not a favorite, but I always wish I could have had Miranda's hair for my femshep lol.

5.Mordin, one of the deepest characters in ME2 and one of the best in the series without a doubt.
4.Legion, Very well done. I was surprised he wasn't returning for ME3 would have made a great addition
3.Garrus, hes pretty cool but is also pretty bland at times.
2.Miranda, had plot significance, i like characters who have plot armor.
1.Wrex, the game should end with him headbutting the head reaper into 100 pieces.

The only characters in the series i don't care for are tali and maybe Kaidan. But i still saved Kaidan on Verm

Gotta go with Tali and Thane. Effective combo against shields and biotics when paired with my Infiltrator Shep, and the Combat Drone is just about the most underestimated power in the game. Wrex and Tali or Wrex and Garrus if we're talking ME1. If we're talkingin terms of personality, gotta stick with Team Dextro.

I love Garrus... He tries so hard to be this hardass, but deep down he's just an awkward guy that has trouble expressing himself

Wrex is my #1 favorite, just a bad ass merc Krogan that we saw grow into a smarter Krogan that started thinking ahead about his species.

Mordin is a close second, which is kind of funny since he is sort of responsible for the trouble my #1 character faces.

Both just awesome characters.

Garrus is firmly ensconced as my femShep's 'bro'. Beyond the man-bromance sense of the word, to where she honestly considers him family, and like a brother. Mordin is, well, Mordin. He's just grand. How he reflects on his past, how he surprised me with that spark of something bordering on religious. Very well written. Thane is one of the deepest, more complex characters on the squad. Wrex. Well. Shepard. Wrex. And Legion is just cute to me somehow.

That ending is highly acceptable

Plus my favorite squaddies were probably Zaeed, Kaidan, Garrus, Wrex and Miranda(which is surprising since during my first playthrough I despised her, and here she is now in my favorites)

Garrus is definitely my favorite, because I feel like I can relate to him more than the other characters. He has his own issues and demons, but he still remains easy going and has a good, twisted sense of humor.

In my initial playthrough Tali was always with me so that I could get into boxes so that really endeared her to me. I liked her so much I cheated on Liara with her. Shame that when I did my infiltrator playthrough I could unlock boxes on my own so I ended up never using her.

in my most recent playthrough I really liked having Morinth around if just for her loyalty ability. Dominate was horribly useful. I'm not sure if it would be as useful on higher difficulties when everybody has more in the way of shields, but on normal I loved it
