Hegemony Commander, Eruz Mathat, who is under guard while his cruiser is inspected, was blunt in his assessment of the situation. “I never thought I would say this to the human navy,” he said, “but we need you.”. That is just bombastic. But why would they try to reach the Alliance and not the other races? Is the sol system even close to their system? And what if it's not the reapers? They didn't say nothing about machines. Well, they did point at the geth, but they pointed at everyone.

I'm excited, but I really hope this doesn't turn into a "HUMANITY! **** YEAH!" ending.

The Batarians and the Systems Alliance are next door (in galactic terms)

Oh, and I pity the batarians too, I suppose.

It was also used for a crappy autobiography and an even crappier miniseries. I thought it was significantly more appropriate here. You know, because it actually describes the situation very well.Ghost-621 wrote...
Quoting Matthew 24:6 for a video game?
That's a bit of a...stretch...I'll hold my toungue and leave it at "I wouldn't have."
Besides, they've already used the Legion quote from Mark. It worked pretty well there, too.

This is why they're on such bad terms--they were trying to colonize the same galactic territory. So human and batarian space isn't terribly far apart, and humans have been founding colonies on the borders of the Terminus Systems for a long time now. It's why the Council was so "helpful" to them during the first to games. (Ah yes, "Council assistance." We have dismissed that claim.)

Yeeeep, and now is just ironic, they always lived as ''out laws'', always makeing their way through slavery and have always shown that bad attitude toward other civilizations.. now they're running. It's war, even the hostiles races are going to unite in order to resist. ''The end is nigh'' haha.

so, I guess Shepard's reason for blowing up their star system didn't reach the ears of the masses?
Or, they still think it's crazy talk? I mean, if the masses heard about the Reapers trying to use the Alpha relay as a back door to kill everyone, and then this happens, wouldn't someone be saying , "Oh, Snap!"
Nice blog entry. It was a bit unsettling.
Oh, man, and the Citadel refugee situation is gonna be fierce as time goes on. All those ppl; shortage of resources; old hatreds; and general freaking out. Whew.

So do you think they might tell us how things went with the Leviathan of Dis now? Apparently not so well.
Yeah, this has nothing to do with the Leviathan and everything to do with being in the Reaper fleet's way.
