Really Morrigan is the example you want to use?

She had more clothes on during her sex scene than the conversations in camp.

In all seriousness though, I agree with you. I really wanted a romance with Wynne, but alas it will never be because she's "too old" for love--just like Samara Image IPB.

That isn't true at all. The only area tha s covered in her sex scene that isn't in her normal clothing is the strip across the sternum. She has a freaking skirt on as her normal wear, too.

That depends on whether you want to bang her in her queen form Image IPBor when she's Witherfang.Image IPB

He wants to bang *her* as Witherfang. Callin' it.

Nice try, but they're all sex scenes. Pre-sex scenes if you like, but fast on the way there.

Just saying it's an example where they clearly ADDED clothes to her for her "love scene"Image IPB

If a strip across her sternum counts as clothes to you, and her skirt that goes down past her knees doesn't, then okay.

That's the current fashion for todays teenage girls.

Like many others have said its a little dissapointing that they are still afraid to slip off the bra and tastefully show a bit of skin ala ME1 but as long as it doesn't look as silly as DA or ME2 I'm good. I love how ME2 & 3 have less skin but way more blood/gore & needless strong language <_<

Yes it counts (and it appears magically when she takes her top off) The skirt just covers her legs--so Image IPBmeh. Count it or don't she's still got clothes on(that don't appear from the ether) where it counts.

I think Slim is refering to the fact that your argument is based on the semantical differences between "sex" and "romance". Which sounds like, splitting hairs. . . I mean you make it sound like people in love have sex differently than regular people. . .

Yeah, when some chick like Miranda is in nothing but a bra and panties, straddling me...that's just so darn romantic.

I'm refering to how the scene isn't about the sex. It's about the romance. That's the point of the scene. That's why you have to build relationships before the scene is available. The scene after Horizon with Jack is a sex scene. The scene with Jack in the bedroom, is a romance scene.

Yeah so I was totally talking about these kinds of scenes where Sheperd and LI dry-hump for 30 seconds because BW doesn't want to show any nudity--even in a renegade sex scene.

@Slim. LOLImage IPBNice joke.

But in Jack's ROMANCE SCENE, it doesn't even show any sex. Nor does it show dry-humping. It shows nothing, so I fail to see what makes it a "sex scene". When you finish the "sec scene" you get an acheivement called "Paramour", and the description says:

"Completed the romance subplot."

You can think what you like I suppose.

As someone has mentioned before, either do a nice fade to black, or show more skin, tastefully, of course. This dry humping with underwear looks stupid, I think we can all agree here.

Semantics--you're focusing on the scene no one has sex in ,even though, this topic is "sex scenes."
I'm not complaining saying "romance scenes" are pg-13.

I'm saying sex scenes may be too pg-13 for some people (myself included). Sorry it just seems like you're splitting hairs between "sex scenes" and "romance scenes" just so you don't have to talk about sex.

I'm fine with all the scenes, because I don't look at them as sex scenes. If you're expecting that, you're going to be dissappointed, because parents are gonna sh*t bricks if they see a nipple in a cutscene.

It was my opinion. I'm sure there are many people who hate the scenes as they are now, but I personally, don't give a f*ck. I'm playing the game for the fun, and the story. The romance adds to the story, so I do that too.

I'm not trying to tell you that you're wrong, I'm just trying to state my opinion. Think what you want. I don't mind them. If you do, that's your own business.

PG-13 isn't the right word for it. Since ME1 was pretty tame but arguably the best way to handle the sex scene. I don't know the right word - maybe the word would be tasteful? They aren't...mature enough? It's too primal and awkward looking?

The Witcher...I've seen the scene in question and I personally think it's too much. No, not because of nudity. But because it doesn't seem like a love scene. I mean, the guy is nailing her from every which angle. Now, before someone argues that couples that are in love have sex like that all the time. It's "realistic." Unfortunately, you gotta throw realism out the window a little bit if you want to convince your audience that these two characters actually love each other and aren't just horny jack rabbits.

I don't know if someone replied to you but since the very Prologue of The Witcher 1, Triss is nailing Geralt and as she says then, after 5 years of absence, Geralt still makes his magic on her, meaning they've been at it for a long time. Later in the game you can choose if they will still repeat that or if he falls for the medic.

The only problem in TW2 is for those who chose the medic since the sorceress was pretty mad at Geralt and it wouldn't be easy for them to be together again like that at the beginning of TW2, which is only 30 days after the last scene in TW1. But the scenes per se are very elegant, beautifully designed, sexy, hot and passionate. As it would be expected for a couple which has been doing that for as long as they have and still have their magic for each other.

It's a shame that so many people, especially americans, have such a disturbed relationship to the human body. Although nudity and sex is just as f*cking normal as eating food. People usually have no issue with explicit visualization of violence, gore, head decapitation or exploding bodies. Yet they go crazy when they see nipples. It's so ridiculous. The result of this are the silly so called "sex scenes" in ME2.

I think the ME3 scenes are too much like the ME2 scenes. I'd prefer they go back to the ME1 type of scenes. That to me was the best way to do it. But now because they don't want to get any flack they are being scared and playing it safer than they did with ME1.

So to me the scenes have gone to PG-13 which is stupid in a M rated game.

The answer here is not "OMGZ WE NEEDZ MOAR SKINZ!!!!!11"  It's are the scenes tasteful and keeping with the tone of the series.  To that I would say no.  I thought the ME1 scene was on the right track, ME2 was ok, and look it's a small one time thing anyway so who really cares?  Just not sure why they went from a tastefully done "one size fits all" scene to the ME2 stuff.  More resources wasted for an inferior outcome.  Not sure I would've allowed that.  Judging from the launch trailer ME3 isn't much better.  It's not the ME2 and/or 3 are bad, they just could've been more.
