i got a power out near my place and lost all my data of Dragon Age Origins as a Rogue i made it so far well at least i think so i made it too the part were you have to save the Mage Tower but really sucks i lost all that data and now i want to try too play it again but now i don't know which one i wanna be

Rogue- was very fun but i always had a problem on which armor would be best for him either light armor or medium armor , i loved sneaking around and back stabbing people but most of the time it felt like every enemy came after me even if one of my teammates used Threat

Mage- i played as one for only a hour to see how it is and i had fun but i hated having little to no armor and dying from a few hits i loved being powerful though with different spells but since im playing on hard i had to be careful for not hurting my teammates which got a little annoying at times

should i try being a rogue once more or should i be a mage

Second Question

if i become a rogue which would be a good party i had Myself Rogue , Alistair shield tank , wardog attacker , and sten as an attacker as well

and also if i become a mage who would be a good party as well i didn't make it too far to get other members so yeah

Rogue is great to play as a main character because you don't have to constantly switch between characters to detect traps and unlock chests. But I played through all three classes and all six origins for the experience of it, which are all different.

Leliana's Armor from the DLC is a great way to at least begin for Rogues and Warriors; simply get STR to 20 about as fast as possible.

But personally, I like letting both these classes elevate their STR to 42 to don heavy armor. And Mage may do the same thing by selecting the Arcane Warrior specialty, aand converting Magic to Strength. If nothing else, you get to stop wearing the cloth hats that scream, "I AM A MAGE! TARGET ME!!!"; a perk worthy of praise.
