I hope i've misread and those aren't the endings.

You haven't. It isn't trolls blowing smoke up your *ss either. This is like at the end of Armageddon & your playing Bruce Willis ... except when you give the ultimate sacrifce the meteor fragments still hit earth.

I'm furious about this crap. The most enjoyable thing about this series is the crew / fantasy / action stew Bioware originally made. I'm sure the first half of the game will enjoyable. But then when all your old pals from ME1 & ME2 start dying & then you are giving (no matter what) a choice of what color you are painting the rubble ... it's just a bad taste.

The multiplayer component was supposed to be there to help the single player, but since I loose every time ... why am I gonna replay the game ? Goddamn that was the sweetest part of ME , the replay.

Cherry - the blueberry and lime endings don't appeal to me.

Destroy the reapers...
I'm not ok with the rest...because all the rest involve betraying everything for what your friends and the people from earth and the galaxy are fighting for.

I'm not good with betrayal in any form...

Seeing as how i have no intention of ever importing my sheps into ME3 i will be playing as default action mode femshep for a 1 time play through so what ending i get doesn't really matter to me.

Is control the blue one? Cause there aren't as many explosions in blue so I'm gonna go with blue.

EDIT: Yes, yes it is. It preserves the Citadel and Shepard's mind. Definitely going with control.

What will you chose?

Destroy: To destroy all reaper technology, relays, geth, EDI , AI's, even the reapers themselves. Only ending where you can potentally live.

Control: Sacrifice yourself to controll the reapers, geth, and other technology.

Synthesis: Sacrifice yourself to 'merge' organics with machines, Sarens goal. Longer life, better health, strength, but you loose your induviduality as a species.

Synthesis.

But...I'm gonna say that Shepard didn't die (b/c, why the hell does she have to die?) and instead cuts off her hand and throws it in the beam.  The old man took some liberties when telling his grandchild Shepard died.  It sounded more badass.

Heh, my ancestor claimed a kingdom pulling that trick. I like this human.

Control.

It has the best chances of the galaxy recovering. Not only do we have the Reapers, but also still have a Mass Relay.

The Citadel. And it doesn't seem to need a second relay to function. Or atleast I don't think there is a relay in dark space.

My Shepard was born to do two things. the first is to bring all the civilization together and second to destroy the reaper and dies because this is the end of her journey.

Likely Control, but I'm going to read the guide before deciding to see if there's anything I missed.

Maybe Prejek Paddlefish really do give a secret ending. >D

Destroy, I guess. It's the only ending where my character lives (thanks BioWare!) so I assume most people would choose it. And the only sacrifice is AI? Why not? AI is created by organics, organics survive. Thus AI can be re-created.

Control? I'm sacrificing my corporeal self. For the Reapers & Geth the result is virtually the same as above, maybe EDI wouldn't mind. Not sure if there are other negatives. Either way, not worth dying over.

Merge? Sacrificing myself again (haven't read enough about the spoilers to know why this choice kills Shepard). Forcing a decision on every organic species in the universe with who know's what possible ramifications. Organic tissue might reject the technology. May induce illness and injury, sterilization, problems with offspring, etc.who knows? Seems like the pro-AI slant on the control ending. Anyway, Shepard still dies.

So, yeah, destroy. Because Shepard lives. But no matter what ending, all my buddies and squadmates are LoSt In SpAcE. Who would have thought that the main things an ME player would care about at the end of the trilogy are what happens to Shepard and his friends? Crazy! Certainly not BioWare!

I'll probably watch the ending the first (if there's more than one) playthrough. The others I'll just go get a coffee and use my imagination to concoct something enjoyable...

Why can't we just kill the Reapers and let everyone else live?

Honestly none of those endings make jack **** for sense.

Merge.  The fact is the Reapers are correct and Legion is correct.  Although independence and freedom to make your own destiny is good, it's 99.999% likely ME races will hit a technological singularity at some point.  Hey, we in real life could hit one in the next couple of centuries (or much, much sooner).  For all we know we could make a perfected AI that becomes an artifical god because it's able to ever improve/outthink itself towards unobtainable perfection.  What was a computer one day has now a runway intelligence, consuming the world's resources, turning the earth into its body, utterly wiping out the human race in the process and has wormhole capabilities able to travel to and consume other solar systems the next.

Actually Skynet from terminator is a toned down technological singularity that causes a time paradox because in the generation or two between Skynet going haywire and John Conner killing it, the AI managed to figure out time travel and who knows what else.

Better to try and solve the causes of technological singularity by elminating the need for AIs that powerful and make organics inheritly intelligent enough to solve their own complex problems.  An underlying/built in singularity warning helps to (if that's the case).

My second option would be destroy for that 0.00001% chance ME races could avoid it without cybernetic tinkering.
Control seems to make Shep the judge, jury and executioner, but curses civilizations to further Reapification if they fail to go a different path that doesn't result in singularity (or that Shep disapproves of).  Essentially Shepard becomes the very thing the next Shepard will have to deal with one day.

Or we get someone to change the sound files around so there's an unofficial ending.
