For those that have played ME3 and gotten decently far (Spoilers!!)

Question1: If Garrus or Tali died in ME2 will someone replace them as permanent squad members in ME3 or will thos of us that have had them killed be short counted on squad members?
Question2: Will Miranda Lawson play a decently big role in ME3, is she a permanent squad member that was kept secret? This one means a lot to me as I went for her over Liara. If she is just a cameo I would really like to know so I can readjust my LI to Liara as cameos ****** me off haha. I want my love interest to be around throughout the game and not to have an Ashley/Kaidan role like was in ME2.
Question 3: Do bonus powers carry over?
Last question: Are there multiple endings?
To avoid huge spoilers those answering the questions can be vague. I mostly just want to know so that for instance if I play ME3 and Miranda is my LI I want her to play a huge role in my story if not I prefer to select someone else.
Thankyou,
Angels

No replacement squaddies for Tali and Garrus
Miranda is a mjaor cameo, details already said, Liara LI seems more major
No idea about bonus powers, seems unlikely
Yes there are multiple endings

I don't think it's possible to save Miranda at all, so Miranda romances are doomed to end in tearful farewells at the end of the mission. And yes, Kai Leng kills her, I believe... but she gets the last laugh by putting a tracker on his ship or something, leading your directly to Cerberus.
I thought the case was that if you warn Miranda about Kai Leng, she can come alive out of her encounter with him?

Miranda is not a permanent squad member. She plays a pretty big role in ME3 compared to other ME2 squaddies who get pretty much shafted, but it's still ultimately just a side role. If she was your LI in ME2, you can continue that relationship and save her life. If she wasn't, you can't start a new relationship with her and I'm not sure if you can even prevent her from dying. I've heard that she might get tortured to death by Kai Leng.
EDIT: Ninja'd. That's what happens when I take a pee break before posting.

I haven't heard about that. We'll see.

That is what I've heard as well

She doesn't always die, it is possible to save her, I think it is if you warn her about Kai Leng, but they may have changed the details since the script
As long as I'm not screwed over by playing as femshep and having NO WAY to save her beczuase she isn't a lesbian then I think I can at least deal with the endings.

Semi-related: Is there any way to save Mordin other than killing Wrex? Even though I've appreciated both, but never fully used either, I still hope there would be an option...

It sounds like you need to warn people about Kai Leng and/or Cerberus to prevent deaths (I think Kelly is a similar situation...you can warn her or ask her to change her identity or something).

IOnly way for Mordin to live is if you killed Wrex, if you destroyed the research so Eve dies, and then if you convince Mordin the genophage is wrong
Lots needed to get him to live haha

Oh look. There goes yet another choice out the window.
If you allow too many choices and variables it would make it impossible to progress the story in any meaningful direction via future installments or spin offs of mass effect games.

Thanks for the posts everyone I feel as I will probably load an earlier save and go for Liara and just keep this one as well. Miranda's role seems pretty decent though. Okay one more question then regarding romances.

Yes, I think you can romance the people on your crew for the first time, but all your non swuaddie LIs can only be romanced if youre importing a romanced game

I'd choose Wrex - Mordin is an old wheezer anyway and he has to atone for the genophage.evil-pineapples wrote...
You're forced to choose between Wrex and Mordin. I'm not even sure you can always choose. There are apparently a lot of variables involved in that choice.

I'd choose Wrex too, but I like both characters. It would be nice if we didn't have to choose who lives and who dies so many damn times in these games.Aramintai wrote...

That's my logic as well. As much as I'd like to save eeveryone (though, given the ending, I'm not sure why...), I'd let Mordin die if I'm left with no option to save both.
