Two days ago, I went to PS Store on my PS3 to buy Mass Effect 2. So I used the search function and typed in Mass Effect 2. It came out with some results such as DLCs and Game packs, but I didn't really want any of that stuff so I selected "Mass Effect™ 2". It opened a new window where now I could select the full game and a trial.
I selected Mass Effect™ 2 (Full Game) which said in the description also contained all of the contents of the Cerberus Pack. Pressed "Buy Now" (it cost 249,99 kunas, about 43 dollars), and "Confirm Purchase". It took me to the download screen, but then I noticed the icon was just for the "Cerberus Pack", not the full game. I thought it was just some glitch so I pressed download. It WAS downloading the Cerberus Pack (it's size was 676 MB) and I thought no big deal, it will probably start downloading the full game after the pack's download is complete. It did no such thing. I even tried installing the Cerberus Pack thinking that would start the full game download, but it just finished installation 'successfully' and dissapeared from XMB. Then when I went back to the Mass Effect 2 screen on PS Store, the "Buy Now" button was now displayed as a "Download" button which means I DID buy the full game, but when I pressed the download button it took me to the Cerberus Pack download screen again and again. It also had the "Download" button on the Cerberus Pack screen. Now, today there IS no download button on the Mass Effect 2 full game screen, just on the Cerberus Pack. PSN took 249,99 kunas whereas if I bought the Cerberus Pack (which I didn't want anyway) it would take only 107,99 kunas.
Sorry if this is a confusing post, I'll explain further if it's difficult to understand.
If I don't get my Mass Effect 2 (which I bought), with or without that damn pack, I'm pretty sure I won't buy ANYTHING from PSN ever again.
Bought Mass Effect 2 on PS Store, received Cerberus pack instead
