Origin just finished downloading ME3 and installing it, I opened the configuration utility in the ME3 directory but saw no way of telling it where the save files I want to import are located (I'm a bit confused because it worked that way in ME2).
I have two different versions of ME2, the retail one (I want to import the saves made in that one, I have them in my C drive) and the Steam one where I have a lot of "experimental" playthroughs, how can I tell it I don't want to import the saves from the Steam version?
How can we tell ME3 which saves we want to transfer?

Both versions has the same location for saves :
C:\\Users\\yourname\\Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 2
C:\\Users\\yourname\\Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 2

Here's the thing, I first played the game using the retail version (this was like a year or so ago), finished it and before uninstalling the game I copied the save files into a folder in my C drive. About six months ago I wanted to play ME2 again, and since I didn't want to go through the hassle of finding the disk, manually installing it, etc. I just bought it in Steam.
Which means, if ME3 uses the saves in the folder you mentioned it'll pick the Steam's saves and not my "official" ones.
Am I being clear?

then copy your "Official":D saves in that path (C:\\Users\\yourname\\Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 2\\Save) and cut(or delete if you don't want them) your steam saves and paste them in some other areas.

Yeah, guess I'll try that as a last resource if there's no other option.
