According to the leaks there is a scene with TIM, Shepard and Anderson - in it TIM is killed and there's a chance that Anderson is fatally wounded. Maybe it's this scene, it happens before the end, naturally <_<

that seems to be more then accurate - as shep himself is a mentor (to garus, maybe even to tali...to grunt, too (he would not declare him his battlemaster otherwise IMHO) etc.) and he has a high chance of making the ultimate sacrifice, too...

ps: i like anderson (also i am a little pissed, that he steps down as the chairman for humanity on the council and i have to deal with Udina again...and that he can not do more for sheppard after arrival...relieved of duty? packed into a cell?...sorry, but NO - i diminishes everything sheppard is doing for humanity!), but they can have him, if i can save my sheppard, his LI and most of the galaxy
