Hello,


I was wondering how to change ingame language? I didn't see anything in the options nor during the installation.

I got the casual version of the game (not electronic nor gold/special edition).

My game is currently in french.

Is there a way to put in in english? patch maybe?

You can change the voiceover language somewhere in the configuration utility - you do have a two-game-disc-set, don't you? The in-game texts remain French. So far, I found no way to change them, too.

Thank you stardazzled it works perfectly (even if the subtitles are in french, my priority concern was about changing the audio language

There was a way to change subtitle language too, I think it involved copying the textfiles of the desired language into the game directory.
Let's see if I can find it...

Found it over on the german forum, all credit goes to SquareMind:

• Insert DA:O Disc One
• Navigate to the data directory on the disc
• There, find and open the campaign_tt_english.rar
• In that archive navigate to modules\\single player\\data\\talktables
• Grab singleplayer_en-us.tlk from the archive and drop it into modules\\single player\\data\\talktables in your game directory
• Back to the data directory on the DVD, locate and open english.rar
• In the archive navigate to packages\\core\\data\\talktables and grab the core_en-us.tlk
• Drop it into packages\\core\\data\\talktables in the game directory
• Try to switch text language in the DA:O Config tool

I just tried adding german subtitles to my game using the above method and it seems to work.
It should work for all languages, they're just using different rar files* (named after the language obviously) and might be located on a different DVD.
DVD1: czech, english, hungarian, italian, spanish
DVD2: french, german, polish

*If there's more than one tlk file (i.e. core_de-de and core_de-de_f) just grab both of them.

I dont know if i should post here but it doesnt seem like a horribly wrong place to ask this. my game is in french like everything. i was wondering if there is any way i can change it. (xbox 360 version also its mass effect 1)

Hello I have a strange behavior with my game, all was well in english and suddendly in my next session game, the game changed to spanish... all but the voices, that still are in english...
¿How can I set all the game in english again? is the Steam version so no CDs, and, Why it changes the language without any intervention by my side?
