seeing as they are billions of organic races uploaded to a machine body, the only safe way to evolve is by adding more organic species to yourself.


the reapers cant or at least shouldnt wait for an organic species to get to the point where they exceed reaper's own tech. i guess biologically humans may have sparked an interest, especially sheperd. the best way to get w/e shep has got would be to get him intact, which is why they wanted his body and it makes sense to keep doing this every so often (50k years). check up on organics..."hmm, this species has something i like" and POW!


and what if this has been going on for a very long time. theres a possibility that an entire organic civilization was wiped out and nothing was taken i.e. they didnt make the cut. at this time in the galaxy the humans have something the reapers want. maybe because we killed one. i imagine thats quite different for the reapers and i bet they hunger for the species responsible for killing a reaper. i mean, heres a species with lesser tech and they still killed 1. the minds of the organics overcame the strength of their opponents...cha ching! dollar signs in reaper eyes.

i now understand what sov ment in ME1 by saying we couldnt comprehend what the reapers actually wanted. its our minds!
