But after playing the Multiplayer, I've noticed that some of the enemies will say things like 'Goddammit', which to me and i'm sure lots of people find it offensive.

I know someone can say 'Well killing is against your belief's too. So play something else'. But of course you can't take that out of ME, cause it would be a totally different game.

Things like some 1-liner phrases can be changed, and if not in ME3, hopefully in future games. I'm just another fan who wants to continue to play Bioware games without having to listen to these lines.

Anders was not forced on you. You could have turned him down and thats it.

If you're that delicate, then the real world is going to eat you alive.

As sci fi fans (and hopefully humans in general) become more enlightened, many are casting off religion for something less murky and nebulous. It's the world we live in. These words are just words, it's the people who are offended by them that give them their power.

Besides, I can't really take some Conservatives in the southernmost states seriously, due to their attempts to outlaw the theory of Evolution in the name of Creationism. That's not faith, that's Zealotism!

'Goddamnit' and 'Jesus Christ' have become popular "swear" phrases in this culture, theist or not. It's absolutely nothing.

And complaining because someone has the option to have a ss romance? I thought RPGs were supposed to be all about choices? I doubt I'll ever use them, but people complaining about something like that is hilariously pathetic.

Which is doubly awesome, because often times I feel like I'm the only person who ever quotes that show any more.

I find such language offensive, but only when a real person is speaking to me directly. If it is part of a character's dialogue, even one liners, it does not bother me as it is part of that character's personality. I just deal with it. I don't ask for it to be dialed back. It's part of that character and thus a part of the story.

Like when I play BF3, I can ask someone I am playing online with to stop using profanity and if they don't like it, I can just kick them out of my squad. But if a character says it, I can mostly ignore it. I ignore it on TV and movies when it's not abused extensively.

Most of the time when a character uses foul language, like Jack, it's just a part of what makes up their character. There are also other times when a character might be in a situation where such a reaction might be normal for them.

But even with a character, if foul language is used ever other word, then THAT would be uncomfortable to me. Thankfully you do not run into a lot of that.

It's a fairly common swear word/expression, and it's an M-rated game. I have a friend who's an Army Ranger, and the man - true to form for a soldier - swears a lot. He's a nice guy and is religious, but he's never indicated that me using the g-word has bothered him. I'm quite sure that we've both used it in the past while playing co-op games/chatted/grouped in WoW. And I do throw JFC (or worse) around too when I'm seriously ticked off, so he probably would've said something after all these years if it really bothered him.

A profanity filter would, undoubtedly, be nice for those with tender sensibilities. However, if it's not in there, sorry. You'll have to get used to it or turn off the sound. I prefer that the g-word stay in because it's more realistic than any of the potential replacements ("gosh darn it" would be silly, and "dammit" or "damn it" lacks a certain punch). Also, as has been pointed out by just about everyone: the Anders romance is not forced on you.

Time good sir, same reasons in England in gyms you have to play music that doesn't offend any or all types of people. We're stuck listening to the same CD everyday.
