No, not really. The endings were taken mostly from pirated PC copy that was released on torrents few days ago, not from Space Edition. It's real, it's what was on the disc, deal with it.
Well hard to blame him...I am sure it affected him a little.

You remember the Dark Energy stuff from ME2? The one situation involving Haestrom's sun? The original ide was that Reapers harvest organics to stop the spread of DE. That was basically it. Now it's totally different.Janka12 wrote...

And again - not really. The endings weren't discovered by playing the game. They were taken from the game's files. Importing doesn't matter. There are no extra lines, no extra cinematics, no anything that would make one hope that there are more endings to be discovered.Shadowstalker79 wrote...
has anyone taken into account that these endings are the pre-loaded endings that they have on the disk for those that say... play the game from here and have not ported over anything from the first 2 games. What i mean is if you start the game from 3, then they have already hardwired the game to have so many outcomes and have already decided for you what characters lived or died from the past 2 games, what happened in the major past events and so on. You dont really get to micro manage every little thing from games 1 and 2 that could change the overall outcome of game 3. So now say i import my save file, my save data has to be calculated into the already pre-loaded data on game 3 and from that point on these game 3 ending we are seeing should in more ways than 1 change. You sould not get exactly the same endings. there is just to much extra data that can factor into the ending of game 3 when you export from 1 and 2 rather than starting at 3 and never playing 1 and 2.
On may hope that Bioware is trolling us, but it's not the case. The endings are real, and Bio won't add anything new. Not really.
Yes, I know I am a hope-killer.

It's just hard to hear person after person argue that "Bioware wouldn't do this to us" after you know that they have and that there's nothing we can do about it. People are bitter, and understandably so. It's nothing personal, I feel for you and all the other people who are going to be upset about this.Janka12 wrote...

I love to keep pointing that out, personally. Faith that BioWare simply wouldn't "do this" when the files suggest otherwise is denial, plain and simple. They did it; it's been done.
It's hilarious, and painful, when people enter this discussion, which has been ongoing for days now, with new theories of "Well have you considered this...?" when, yes, we have, because what you're suggesting was already covered earlier.
But, no, people just want to jump into the fray with "Relax. BioWare wouldn't 'do this' to us."

So some guy who 90 percent of us have never met tells us this is all there is and we are suppose to beleive him?I need a little more than a few videos and a little audio as proof. If this guy has something then he should back it up. You don't know just how old this is this could be the reason the game was delayed in the first place. Look at it like this if you had this stuff and you wanted to screw BioWare wouldn't you hold onto this untill the game was just a few days from release. So if this guy is out there PM with your proof or just show yourself .Jackal7713 wrote...

If you would actually put effort into looking, you'd realize that all of this is no longer coming from just one guy anymore. It's been corroborated to hell, but because it doesn't make what people think should happen, people are refusing to accept any supporting evidence.
At this stage, you don't deserve compassion. You deserve to learn what misplaced trust in a game company and sheer ignorance will do when you choose to just ignore what doesn't support your views.

I haven't met Bioware employees or EA reps either. Difference between this guy on the internet and them is he's not trying to sell me a product.

rumor is that they made the endings horrible so that EA wont make them make any more mass effect games
Another explanation I heard on some random forum is that the ending provides the best possible scenario for an ME MMO. ME universe is big enough that it would be difficult to make an entire MMO out of it, so what better way to section off areas for future expansions than the destruction of the mass relays?
Not that that's what I personally want, but it sounds plausible.
