Why do people buy the collectors edition and then turn aaround and sell it on ebay for twice as much as its worth and now i cant get it because everyone is out of the Xbox 360 version i have been working to save up for the preorder and now my birthday is ruined

CE's allways run out fast. You cant realy blame people on turning a profit. The notion behind ebay and and amazon, is that the price of the item depends on how much the buyer value them. Personaly, I just go for DDE, they don't run out and contain almost everything that is on the CE. in this day an age, the need to actually hold a CD in your hands is obselete. I admit that CE's have sentimantal value, but in most cases the difference between them and DDE is not enough to convince to pay the difference. I do own several CE's like swotor and ME2 myself, but frankly after a month the novelty fades and you end up with things that clutter your desk... So go get yourself a DDE!

(also, I don't see how these topic has anything to do with technical support...)

yea Wal-mart only sells the reqular version and this game is honestly the only thing i wanted for my sweet 16. this sucks

I had the same issue, the guy at my local gamestop said that they typically have a few leftover on release day, so I could more than likely just pre-order the regular edition, then show up and pick up a CE. I instead opted to get the digital deluxe version from Origin.

 On Tuesday scour all the stores in your area. Look everywhere. Don't give up. 

I know best Buy always has spare Collector's editions of other games lying around the store, so you can try all the Best Buy in your area. Gamestop can look in their system and check the inventory of other stores, then have them call the other store if they have one and hold it for you. That is how I got my Mass Effect 2 CE like a week after release. I went to my Gamestop and he found out a store a half an hour away had one left, so they held it for me and I drove over there and picked it up. 

People are bound to not pick up their copy or cancel for one reason or another. If you are persistant enough you can find a copy. And Happy Birthday.

I have an offer i was lucky enough to be able 2 preorder a xbox 360 collectors edition at best buy but really want the gamestop preorder stuff and think its bull i cant get it so i will trade 3 months of xbox gold membership to someone for the gamestop preorder bonuses
