Obviously we want some answers. Why cant we get any? Why is it in one of the most important times of the series they go silent to fan outrage?

Why would they? Game hasn't launched yet, and you expect them to openly apologize for something or promise a patch/DLC for later, effectively admitting the game wasn't launched in a finish state?

Because what can they say? Deny the footage, audio, and details that are already leaked and sooth the anxiety that has developed? Apologize for the decisions that were made?

There is nothing they can say or will say that won't hurt sales. It's better to stay quiet, let the game come out then say something, if they so choose.

What are they supposed to respond with?

They acknowledge that the endings are factual, they're just going to get more of an uprising and lose pre-orders.
They say that the endings aren't factual, they're lying (since the game has already been datamined) and they lose long term fans (more fans than they would lose by staying silent).

It could hurt sales and they could lose potential customers thru pre-order cancellations and current orders. First thing is to make sure that they break even before taking the next step.

Answers? To what? Why the chose to end the series the way they did?

Do you seriously believe that they would allow the fans to hold them accountable to the way they decided to tell their story or that they would admit that they made a mistake and promise to make it all better?

Because then people would know for sure. The longer they can keep people in the dark the more money they make as CC's get charged and games get shipped.

Because they don't have to give us an answer for anything, all that care about now is our money. Manly because they know their last 2 IPs flopped DA2, SWOTOR, and possible ME3.
