Looks like the backlash is spreading.

There's multiple people who saw the ending there and said they would discourage friends from buying just from what they saw - and that video doesn't even hint on the marooning/inbreeding/starvation element. Others describe it as "not even worth pirating." Word of mouth is going to kill ME3's sales. They're just staying tight-lipped now in hopes that the pre-orders will clear before the cat gets out of the bag. That's the only explanation that makes sense to me at this point.

I can give you 1.7 million reasons why SWTOR hasnt "flopped" The TOR boards can get as bad as BSN sometimes with people going out of their way to try and "bring down bioware" Nor would i agree that DA2 flopped, for all the players that hated it, a lot of us enjoyed it and saw potential with it. The DA forums here are still fairly active

But back on topic, why would they respond at this stage..in fact if ever? They have made a game, the game has an ending and lets be honest despite the massive outcry around the endings here we all know this game will be a massive commercial success, and will recieve numerous reviews that site it as the single best video game ever made.

To be honest i think they have already responded to an extent..in advance. We were warned the ending could make some of us angry. Really what else can they do except remind us of that statement?

Im trying and failing badly to avoid spoilers, which will be even harder come tuesday as im in the UK and have to wait till friday before i can play (that to my mind should be the big rant, why do we EU and non US regions have a longer wait?) From what i have read i kind of like the sound of the endings, i apreciate others dont and i respect your views, but honestly will Bioware respond to the outrage around the endings? Probably not.
