 For example the sound of gunfire and voices disappear before the sound is finished. What I mean is that when a squad mate says something, I hear only the beginning of what he/she says, for example if Liara says "The sooner we get off this island, the better", i  hear only "The so...". Sometimes the sound lasts a little longer and sometimes the sound completes the sentence.

Another example is when i run with the Squad, the footsteps sound like their "crashing" with each other, and it will suddenly go all "hi-pitched". Umm, like, "krrr".....

And as mentioned it is the same problem with the gunfire. Its not always the sound is coming when I or a squad mate shoots/fires, and sometimes it doesnt complete the blast. 

Mass effect 2 on the other hand works just fine without any problems. I have never had this problem  with other games. The sound card is good enough for ME1! I have the sound as "Software", not "Hardware". Ive tried with both but the only thing "Hardware" did was **** it up even more. 

I really do not know how to fix this. Please help.
