Hey guys, look, even if the ending sucks, the game is still pretty good.

The journey may be good. But the destination counts just as much.

Why would I want to save Mordin over Wrex? They didn't even keep the same voice actor, and that was half of his charm!
Mordin is the man. Characters are more than just the voice actors behind them - writing counts, too.
Yeah, but he is also in old age and he really wanted to atone for his participation in the genocide. I like Mordin, but I think his life is his decision.

A trilogy ending here oh the ending doesn't matter cause the game itself is good.
Good to know I guess I can mute the sound and just play with my music running in the background then.
I do it with wrestling because I sure as hell don't play that for the story.

I've been heartened to hear to that the squadmates of ME can saved/killed depending on your actions in the game. For example:
1. Tali commits suicide if you side with the geth.
2. You can kill Wrex to save Mordin.
3. You can let Kai Leng kill Miranda and a few others if you elect not to warn them of him.
4. Jack can be left in a torture chamber and be turned into a phantom (whatever that is).
Yeah, the ending sucks, but I can still see myself getting a lot of replay value and entertainment from ME3. Let's look on the bright side, people!
a phantom is a Cerberus ninja

Good drama is when you don't even notice or you're invested in the story.
bad drama has you rolling your eyes like a soap opera.

Uh, no. We've spent a huge number of hours (ranging from 3 to 4 digits depending on how many Shepards we have) into this damn series, and did not sign up for a **** ending. This crap is why I gave away Fallout 3 after playing the game for a month. It's the equivalent of saying you want to have a successful career in your field only for some random gunman to shoot you in your house before you bother starting that career
It's posts like this that annoy the living hell out of me. You did not sign up for a "**** ending". I signed up to see how the storyline as a whole will evolve, to see what my favorite characters would be doing in the next installment, and to just enjoy the games themselves.
I love the games. Mass Effect is without a doubt my favorite series. I have five complete playthroughs of the first two games and over a dozen other Shepards stopped at various points through out the games. I have hundreds of hours invested into the series - but I don't really care about the ending. Yes, I wish their was a happier one but to me the journey is more important than the destination.
Not to mention that the ending itself isn't really that bleak in the first place.
Everyone on the Normady has an omni-tool that can convert a comic book into an assault rifle. It's not that much of a stretch of the imagination to believe that something exists on the ship that could turn even poisonous organic content into some sort of paste to keep the crew alive.
As for the incest? Well, the crew is genetically diverse enough that a few generations would be able to go without any major issues - especially since every Alliance military member has their genes perfected as part of their join. Throw in an Asari and things get even easier.
Not to mention in a series that had Space Magic from day one, Mass Effect 4 could easily be about the remains of the relays and the drive cores suddenly reactivaing - leading to a new mystry.
With the way people act, there's a graphic scene where everyone becomes crazed and they start killing each other.

I'm happy for you. This ending only gives me one play through. I'm not good with leaving Garrus and Tali to starve it dealth. They're Shepard's friends. I'm sure it good for a single playthrough.

Damn it. Double post.
I'm not sure they can convert the food. The book Mass Effect Ascension goes through great length in discussing the need to get purified Turian food when the Quarian leave their ship. I ordered the game and will play it once but I'm not big on tragic drama. I'm sure the questions or mysteries about the series will be discussed.

Uh, no. If the destination is utter crap, the journey itself is meaningless and pointless. It's like saying "I want to be a successful [insert career here]" and that diety in the sky going out of its way to **** you over and prevent you from pursuing that career. What's the point of even trying if you're "going to fail anyway."

Yes!! You are right! Thats why no one should bother living because we are all going to die at some point anyway. Sorry. The journey is what counts wether you succeed in your goal or not.

Oh my, your head canon is quite liberal, isn't it? If only technology was quite so convenient as making assault rifles from a comic book.
But really, that sounds a lot better than the truth. So sure let's go with that.

Haha. I am usually disapointed with every ending from most games and books. I generally ignore or skip them in favor of my own wacky or unlikely endings that my mind spawns.
By the way, one should never have blind faith in anything man made. Also, if one avoids all products because of one or two bad experiences then they border on simian. Just saying.
